Have to agree to an extent regarding throttle control, but surely the set up matters more in wet conditions and can be geared to suit.
The track was set up strange on Sunday very little dirt on the inside line ( meaning less than usual IMO)and was bone track underneath after the light watering that it was given before the meeting started, therefore when the rain came the inside became very slippy hence the reason they were trying to rough it up .I personally though it would have been Ok if the rain didn’t come back, but who’s to know the it’s riders have to ride it.These decisions though are certainly harming the sport.A forecast of rain on the the day means they should just cancel the meeting.(that’s what it’s coming to more and more). Very seldom a meeting is run in any wet conditions .The fans will just stay at home.If it’s streamed even more so.
