What I would like to know is after 20 years riding in the UK how many set-ups do you have to have regarding the weather.Surely he has had all the situations by now.

Don’t think Madsen will go away easily ,think he looks a contender.

Many fans from different Clubs have the same views regarding the problems they see within the sport.Whether you think they are negative or not ,they are voting with there feet.Formula1 and MotoGP obviously doesn’t have exactly the same problems as speedway as it is a different sport and has not had the decline in attendances the Speedway has had.Even the most diehard and loyal fans are concerned the way the sport has declined in recent seasons.The fact that Matt Ford is now advocating that 1 league could be the answer to some of the problems tells you a lot.Many fans have been saying that for years now.Its obvious that Promoters can’t keep paying riders wages that are unaffordable given crowd levels unless they can attract serious Sponsorship which is very thin on the ground these days .The sport has lost a lot of credibility IMO,which doesn’t help.The entertainment factor also comes in the equation, which is different at various tracks.

It’s all about interpretation in speedway, you should know that

You could say they were knocked out in the 1st round as there was only 1 round then the Final.

Have to agree seen him a couple of times this season(one was the GP qualifier) and he was superb, and a real entertainer,all out action.

Just one of the problems Imo. There has been racing around Shielfield for approx 30 years and was well supported for a lot of them ,the sportitself is the main problem ,not addressing the issues that were arising when they were happening.Berwick is one of many Teams with low crowd issues.

Gary Flints positivity failed to rub off on the riders, very poor from some members no excuses beaten by a good Leicester Team.

Think he had relations and sponsors involved at Trelawny.

Seemond Stephens was decent at Trelawny ,Imo

Liked TJ when he was at Berwick,I thought he hadn’t reached his full potential,but he is just too inconsistent and basically a “gater”.You never know from race to race with him.

That’s speedway ,plenty of guests to fill missing riders.

Used to be one of the best tracks in British Speedway,but like a lot of other tracks Technology is ruining the spectacle.

Very Narrow exits from bends.

apologies,I though you were referring to start of season.Theo couldn’t have replaced Gappmaier then, and stay under the points limit

But the point you were making regarding Pijper average being lower at the start of the season is incorrect.

Gappmaier had an average of 4.84 when signed this season.

It will soon be once a month Speedway at most tracks the way things are going.

Pijper belongs to Edinburgh ,loan fess etc, personal terms Theo’s longtrack commitments come into equation ,the Promotion just don’t have the cash IMO.

IMO nothing wrong with Ashfield Halifax was good, as was Workington. Coatbridge was good. Old Meadowbank was great.
