In your opinion ,was the track unfit or was it just the riders, you have seen a lot of speedway!!!.The race times were normal IMO.

Interesting to see that Cami Brown didn’t seem to think that last week meeting should have went ahead ,this weeks weather is similar what chances it will be on ,riders won’t like it.

Edinburgh have advertised recently that fans living more than 50 mls away could watch there matches for £10 ,so it could be the case that you can watch in Somerset.

Fans are getting totally pi##ed off with riders attitude towards tracks, they seen to be unable to alter their set up to suit.Do Promotions do enough track work prior to race day or are they just “winging it” and hope things will be alright on the night.A grippy track is a grippy track they are meant to professional sportsmen yet just whinge and moan if the track is not like a motorway.Gate and go is all you get in GB speedway nowadays.

A few 1st/2nd bend passes maybe.!!

Matches I have attended this season suggest crowd levels are still falling at a number of clubs,but don’t think moving down a league will solve anything.NL standard will maybe cut losses but it will not improve attendances or attract new fans.IMO.

Think Ben Barker was mentioned ,could be wrong though.

It’s just GP racing for me, you see plenty of moves during the course of a meeting, but the seasoned campaigners anticipate it most times.

The entertainment on the track was worth the wait in these “golden” days.That is the difference.IMO.

Facenna a must be getting fed up apologising to the public ,while the track was maybe difficult the attitude of some of his Team leaves a lot to be desired.

It looks like certain Glasgow riders think to much about track prep before meetings these days, everything has to suit them. Negative mindset does not help in speedway.

No one can accuse Wethers for lack of effort ,was having a good battle with THJ in 1st running of race and he chased Dany for whole race till he came down on last bend in rerun, he could have cruised round for 2points.Probably the best race of the night.

If Stark comes back before end of season, would they not have to drop Sam Jensen which doesn’t help.The problem is at No2.

Think basically the track was not what the home riders were used to and didn’t adapt to conditions ,Scunny did.Dry and Slick is the only track 90%of riders can ride these days.

Not much being said about Cook’s appeal either when is it going to take place,this season !?

Remember him and Jimmy Cox having a”set too” at Old Meadowbank in the sixties when he rode for Sheffield a real hard rider who took no prisoners.R.i.P.
