What a lot of rubbish, he gates and then goes faster than most riders for 4 laps,he's not hanging around on all shapes of tracks, doesn't do "Fisher" and fall on his ar#e once a meeting (everybody calls him a racer ).Most Teams would take him if they had the chance.
-
Plenty riders if you can match pay demands.Surely they know what's happening with Allen it's only they average situation they have to enquire about if the lad has the qualification criteria, which they say he has.
-
See in the Newsletter that Berwick are hinting that Jake Allen is not a foregone conclusion as he still needs a visa from the right authorities.
-
He did. And was impressive when I saw him at Berwick I would put him on par with Max Fricke at 15 which is good guide plus you know he has more cycle skills if you watched him in the Red Bull rookie series, certainly worth a try IMO .
-
That is my understanding regarding the UKBA,so how can these riders get a visa unless there is a loophole .Berwick state he meets the BSPA qualification for a visa as he finished in Top 4 in State Championship but it seems it's the BSPA that said it is on a5 point average, could the UKBA overrule the points average as they seem to be saying new riders must come in a7 point av.
-
don't think we have heard the last of this "new Aussie average". BSPA don't seem to know their own rules that apply to some Promotions and not others .Made up as they go along as usual. If your Granny's Granny'was born in the EU I think your ok
-
Point is that Lawson doesn't need to pass anybody very often as he can gate which Screen couldn't do,a good signing.Imo
-
Just to clarify my own post I'd keep Kus and Vissing and let Kevin go.
-
yep!that is a interesting situation regarding new Aussies.
-
Not convinced.
-
That's exactly how I seen it .Unfortunatly I think the rider we should keep will be the one to go.That is only my opinion though.
-
the point I am making is to win away from home you must have1 good reserve scoring big points even if you have good No1 depending on who we sign potentially we could be weak in reserve department .
-
What did the other reserve at the time score though.I was at Workington and I think Steen had double figures and a fall in his last race.Still that's history here's hoping we have another decent season.
-
If Kus is back which I assume he will be(he did the job he was brought in for last season )he will be under pressure from heat leader berth and he won't get a shot at reserve unless Allen is brilliant and does what Steen done at the beginning of last season.Interesting!.Iwould like to see Vissing back to back up Barker but might not happen if rumours are correct.
-
Where!!!!!
-
One thing for sure is if he plays up he will be on his bike out the door IMO.He does have the touch of class if he feels like it.
-
I am right in thinking that Tommy J.had a troublesome shoulder injury which halted his progress the last couple of seasons.I think he is a good signing given an injury free season.Saw him a couple of times at Scunny he was fantastic.
-
It's quite amusing the lack of comment regarding from the "strength in depth is the way forward brigade "now that the Promotion seem to be tilting the "other way" this season.Lost for words or waiting to be told what to say to "tow the party line."
-
I also think Branford would be a good reserve, but think he will be much sought after by others looking for a 3 pointer.he has had connections with Berwick though.
-
The wording of some Press releases could be better, but at least we have made a decent start to Team building .would like to see Vissing back though that would sort out our home form.
-
That's because you thought it was Olly!!!!!

He has

I do find it a little strange PR to try and sell season tickets on no information, not even the admission price for next season. How many seasons has Barker been a rumour for Bandits, his best years are probably behind him, hasn't improve in the last couple of seasons.
