Workington need some riders with established GB league pedigree to finish the team off now. Interesting team building so far but 3 newcomers to GB and the enigma that Cook now is could cause them a few problems. Good to see Worky back in the championship though.
No idea and not bothered as I'm not a Scunny fan. Upon reflection that team might finish 2nd bottom if Plymouth don't pull a few surprise signings out of the hat.
The rolling averages do lie though as Wright's official average is under 8 whilst in reality it was nearer 10 from his scoring this season. However I wouldn't have Hume back at Redcar. Makes too many mistakes and loses points.
They need to stop having 2-4 week gaps at home with no scheduled fixtures and it should be fine. The BSN cup would obviously be scrapped freeing up more dates for league racing.
Maybe not a bad idea as numerous times this season teams have been stronger when they have had injuries and brought in guests. Horses for courses. I can't think of any other sport where a team suffering several injuries are stronger apart from speedway.
Poor crowd numbers at Redcar tonight. No surprise there though with Redcar out of the play offs, poor weather, running on a Wednesday, the meeting being on BSN and many fans still angry over Redcar's capitulation by accepting the Sunday date at Oxford with a depleted team. Season fell apart like a cheap watch!
