  1. Someone had to be excluded - as Chris Louis said it would have been very harsh on Pawlicki to exclude him as Kurtz dived underneath - it reminds me a wee bit of the playoff final at Owlerton (22) when TobiM charged under Oh Kurtz and down he went!
  2. Not quite sure why we went so wide in heat 15 - yes I know chasing the dirt etc but it wasn’t there -
  3. Well done Brummies - very entertaining meeting and some of their riders really did well for them tonight!
  4. After Milik's score in Poland today I wouldnt hold out much hope for Birmingham - Pawliicki was better however! Can only se a BV win here I am afriad, but will be watching.
  5. Well those predicting Jason Doyle’s demise in the series might have been a bit premature! - but it’s a long series so let’s see - based on tonight Woffindens days in the series might be numbered - but better tracks might yield different results! Jack Holder certainly the best in show tonight! fairly routine and largely dull event tho
  6. It rained quite heavily today from 5-6.30 south of Ipswich - en route up it was still raining up the a12 and a14 got there and all the cars were leaving the stadium so guessed it was off - disappointing but that’s the first rain off at Ipswich I’ve ever experienced from recent memory
  7. Oooh right - well eleven to choose from ten if you exclude Lambert!
  8. Yes - well worth it in my opinion if you can't get there! Home win by 10+ i reckon tonight. Max Fricke will continue his good form!
  9. Weather been fine so far should be no issues, looking forward to this - hope to see some good racing - still inclined to back a narrow home win
  10. Talking of Ruthless ay chance 'bert bert' as my Sheffield supporting mate calls him will make an appearance or will he wait for that playoff call?
  11. He was absolute pish on Thursday on a track that should have suited him! It was suggested he had bike issues but who knows. It is going to be a another long hard season for you guys i fear!
  12. Was not aware of that time difference so that makes sense for the difference in the 'punishments'!
  13. This is definitely great news for Ipswich - like the SCB no further comment needed!
  14. The SCB statement confirms no penalty for Doyle so all systems go for Thursday
  15. A lost BP is the only real damage from last night. (so far)
  16. Hoping to be there for this - reserves and the Holder brothers will be key - Gilkes rode very well last week but i expect Foxhall will be a tougher ask for him. We know historially the Holders dont go that well at Foxhall but if they do that might tip this in Sheffields favour, Emil and Doyley need to be at their best too. I expect Adam will be out to prove a point also. Expect a narrow home win say 46-44 - this will be a test oif both sides aspirations for the play-offs / title. If there is any comeback from Doyles no show last night id expect that to be next week now also.
  17. I am sure Sheffield might have something to say about that!
  18. Technically yes you probably have to wait until the meeting starts or finishes - however we all knew he wasn’t showing up Anyway ‘Sound and Fury’ what sports fans do the best! Charles Wright is about as good as you can get at BV at such short notice - presume he still lives local too!
  19. I imagine they will want statements from the club / rider etc - but I suspect they will be consistent and apply a fine and 7 day ban but let’s see! Tungate could argue a motorway accident in Poland wasn't his fault either as I think that’s why he missed his flight? . Either way a rule has been broken and a penalty will follow if there is no punishment for Doyle if I were Oxford I’d be appealing and complaining about Tungates!
