I saw a facebook post that mentioned his friend Mick Bratley who had given an report. He had full movement, a small bleed on the brain but doctors are not worried.
He must have hard a very hard hit on the head. Wish him well. It must be doubtful we will see him on a bike for some time.
I have seen Andersen ride a lot over the last 15 years. A hard rider who gives his all but not unfair would be my opinion. Everyone makes errors of judgement time to time.
Updates says it was an awful crash. The paramedic gone to hospital with Andersen so the meeting is suspended until he gets back. A sad part of the sport.
I agree. The fans seem to love Friday night racing as the stadiums are packed. If honest the riders will do too because of the financial rewards through the TV contract. If the riders had a choice of pratice or earning a big wage packet I'd think they would take the latter.
the wrong thing with relegation is the riders who took you down (Holder x 2 for example) will probably get jobs in the top division next season. The team selection was surprising with Holta getting a pick.
the shape of the track does not lend itself to good racing. very fast straights and then scrub the speed off to go round a tight left hand corner. all tracks around a football pitch are the same.
