I love Nicki!! I'll never forget Mr Cook at Ippo but was was a year ago - needed some up to date antics. And I don't think the heater shed any blood. No problem with female Start Marshalls or Refs as long as they can count, watch the racing and know and enforce the rules.

Maybe the delays against Peterborough were not quite long enough because I don't remember hearing any interviews at all and precious little additional information. Nothing against Craig Saul, I quite like his voice and style. I compare that with Peterborough and Ippo (and I assume Mildenhall because I haven't been over there yet this season) where there are loads of interviews and time fillers. Turgid stuff at Rye. Maybe it will be seconds out for round 2 when Monarchs come visiting! My money would be on Deek. Might make the evening more tolerable.

Depends what's causing the boredom. Constant home wins do not necessarily equate to boredom. Dull as ditch water presentation / dreadful track conditions / long delays between races all do make for boredom though. Only been at Rye once this season (for the Peterborough meeting) and the presentation was not worthy of the name. Long delays with no conversation from the announcers at all. The racing wasn't the worst I have seen, and the track's not great, but it was the delays and the lack of presentation that was the killer.

All joking aside, this might be an awful lot closer than most folks think. They do usually put on a big performance at the Dale and have the likes of Garratt who will be bringing with confidence after wopping the world champ. They have enough others who can do well at our place so we will all need to be on the gas from the off. Dunno where Cookie's bikes are likely to be and Deek needs to find form. Should be a comfortable win on paper but who knows on shale.

Agree. Think Deek's performance could well be the deciding factor.

Don't see Wolbert winning heat 1 but I can see a comfortable win for the Tiggers and certainly enough to get through the tie. If Rusty is indeed back on it as he seemed last weekend then the addition of Henry makes them a pretty well balanced team.
