'Fraid not. I'm seen as a bad luck charm at Armadiddle. We hadn't lost at home for donkey's years till I turned up in June last year and we proceeded to lose at home by 6 points to the Weegies. Fortunately we turned them over big time (by a dozen points) at their emporium 2 days later!! Nice 15 point max Mr. Cookie!! Ben Hopwood - conqueror of Somerset's BWD is The Man in for The Wee Man. No problemo!!

As I said before - I don't like him, I just don't dislike him quite as much as I used to. 2.5 out of 10 now instead of 0.5 out of 10. But the big question is.............. .......... can Ben Hopwood deal with Connor Coles the same way as he did with Bradley Wilson-Dean last week? We know Kaiser Kevin is back on it after his illness as witnessed by him beating Cookie twice last week. (Has anyone done that before?!!) We know Smiling Sam is an international superstar. We know Flyin Ryan wants to finish his career with another title. We know Erik Riss is a current and two-time World Champion. We know that Mark Riss is really upping his game now - and is the brother of a current and two-time World Champion. We know that Max Cleggy is the current NLRC and Under 19 Champion. So the pedigree is there - just need a wee bit of luck and some decent refereeing.

1.3 miles from Armadale station. Then a taxi ride.

I'll be fine it's you lot I'm concerned about - especially baldyman!!

I see the Somerset leg of the semi final is Friday 7th October. I don't know if there is any seniority in getting the second leg of a tie? But if so then presumably Somerset's home match will be the first leg. No provisional Ippo or Us semi final fixture on BSPA so it looks like the Ippo leg may not be till 13th October which matches the fixtures on the Ippo site. So another 2 and a bit weeks to go!! It'll be freezing by then!!

Thought this was the 2016 thread? So you've missed the cutoff date for changes!!

Wish the Fish a long and happy retirement. So many great memories especially from Ashfield and Kings Lynn. But................ it's not new news really. Most of us expected it.

Don't think Sam was complaining about the grippy track. Just said it was "unique" and he hadn't worked out the first bend. Also said the ippo riders like it so don't change it. Cleggy may have suggested it was grippy when asked by cookie if it was. I thought the track seemed a it less bumpy on Thursday. Can't have been deep though because Mark Riss struggles in the deep and he rode it well. Sounds good though if it's all going to change - might help covatti in his outside sweeps.

Nice words from cookie.... "It was awesome to be back and there is nothing better than riding Armadale. I thought I might struggle in my first couple of rides but I was fine and it was like living the dream again. -

Cookie certainly has gone backwards since he joined the Panties. One race win all night. And we had Kaiser Kevin getting off his sick bed to ride (and beat cookie twice). Seems he has been laid up with the Jacobs bug. Shame that some others weren't as professional. -

Better to have raced and lost than not to have raced at all. -

If they weren't you might have needed another whip round to pay the fine. Feel so sorry for cookie. -
