Sure I saw a quote in this weeks SS that it wouldent be sorted out till november.

There was a young family just in front us and they looked like first timers as well, after heat 6 they got up and went and we didnt see them again, Im hoping they moved to another part of the stadium but Im assuming they went home, It wasnt entertaining, exciting or of any real interest, seasoned supporters know it was just a blip and the next time you come you just might get a better meeting, but each meeting should be more professional, sadly last night it wasnt. Hoping the EL play off final if you get there is much better and the big event later in the month the NL 4s is treated to a better presentaion than last night. My Brother said to me last night just after heat 9, "why are they killing our sport" and sorry to say its probably true.

Im with Gemini on this, Ive stopped buying Programmes, Been going to speedway since 1973 and have a loft with 1000s of programmes in, I never look at them all they do is gather dust. Most of the programmes are full of adverts or news you already know about off the internet, it cant be upto date news in the prog and the amount of times you get to the stadium and look at the Prog and realise that there are going to be changes, it just seems all very pointless. I would like to see promoters trying both for a season and see how they do, printed team sheet and a programme for the same event and see who bothers with each one, it would be a team sheet every time for me. Got to go now and fill my Programme in.

Thanks for clearing that up, as it was heat 10 and gone 10.30 I thought that was it.

I thought they had gotten to the curfew it was getting on for 10.30pm.

Hope all you lucky buggers who are in stockholm have a good time and the meeting is good for you, went last year and had a fantastic time really nice city and great stadium, wish I was there but stuck watching it on Tele instead.

The whole incident could have been prevented if the Ref had excluded one or both riders when he put the red lights on for delaying the start, As one who was there as soon as the red lights came on I automatically looked at the riders lights expecting to see one of them lit up. This didnt happen they just sorted themselves out and then the trouble began as they went into the first corner and the rest you know. Silly incident that shouldent of happened if the Ref had made the right decision, the BSPA must look into this as well as the riders and officals the whole thing was a disgrace.

Your crowd was bound to drop. Not in the play offs, one off the bottom of the league, lost quite a few at home, it was on the telly, riders missing and you know how fickle Supporters are hopefully you will get some better crowds when the New Stadium built just for speedway is built and the sooner the better. Not a regular at Belle Vue, went when the Brummies were there and a few times since you moved from the Great Hyde Road track over the years but the standard of the stadium has dropped in all that time, the sooner you move the better for all concerned the riders, the staff, the supporters and the Promoters, roll on 2016.

Will this be on the updates. I think it starts later because of the heat.

I was thinking about the crowd, do you think quite a few might have gone to Lonigo instead of Poland, not everybody can afford both and might be quite a problem getting to Lonigo from Poland.

Great meeting in a fantastic stadium on a top class track, really enjoyed the SEC this season, PK, ES and GL for the SGP next season and get rid of some of the duff ones from the SGP.

Looking forward to this after Wednesday when we didnt get a complete meeting, not Eurosports fault but still disappointing.

Dont people get on your nerves, as a previous person said, its 20 to 25 minutes of actual bike noise lasting at most a couple of minutes each race. The world is full of stupid gits.

I must admit to being a speedway nut, started in 1973 at coventry went a couple of times and then went to Ladbrookes stadium to watch birmingham in 1974 and that was it hooked. Very depressed in 1983 when they closed down, but at least we had the Wheels to go to and a team to watch, not the great stadium we had at Perry barr but we had a team and then the news came that we wouldent run in 1986. This was the days of saturday night speedway and used to alternate between Coventry and Cradley and saw some great meetings, Cradley was a dump with one of the best tracks and saw some fantastic meeting there. Slowly started to lose a bit of interest, lots of rumours of the Brummies coming back but it didnt happen. Had a couple of seasons where I just went to all the big meeting and the world final, no matter where it was, but slowly started to get interested again, not supporting anybody but always gave a former Brummies rider a wave and cheer if they were riding where we went, couldent support anybody esle it just didnt seem right some how, Shaun Mcconnell was the last Brummie rider and we used to go to Brighton just to cheer him on, good days. I do feel losing your team gives you a better idea of the riders and some of the decisons in the meeting as you look at it from a different view, while the supporters around are shouting its not fair you stand there thinking that was the right call from the ref. Then we had the great news it was it was coming back in 2007, never thought it would happen but it did had some good seasons until the middle of 2014 and we closed again, but hopefully it will come back if the rumors are true(come on Tony). Watched the closing of too many tracks over the years some great stadiums with good tracks but never give up hope, one day you might walk through a gate and realise the track in front of you is yours and your back supporting the team you love.

I went to Kent a couple of years ago and was very impressed with the stadium, had a really enjoyable night and then drove back to Solihull, it was a nice feeling getting home a lot earlier than I would from some of the long distance 7.30 tracks. I wish the track was a couple of hours nearer, then I would become a regular.

I remember one complait against the Brummies when we started back, this resident moaned that the noise was very loud on this wednesday night in question. This woman must of had super hearing as we were away at Kings lynn that night, daft cow.

In this case it might have been a good idea as she helped Bjerre put his shoulder back in, sounds like a lady who knows what she is doing.

had an idea, with all the racing heritage that Belle Vue have over the years, 4 world champions, some of the greats ridden for you, why not open a museum on site, it could be open to the general public during the day even when there not racing and during the winter as well. Get one of those brown signs up and get it on the general tourist package as well, tourist information and all that, dont know too much about Manchester myself but I reckon it could work. If the council are backing it think of the people it would bring in.

Very enjoyable GP and what a crowd, looked full to me. Well done to AJ, good close racing and the usual tatrum from Pedersen, I thought he was going to hit thet woman for a minute. Hope K Bjerre is not feeling to battered this morning, Wuffy looked in so much pain, got 7 points to keep him in the running.
