  1. To me that reads like you suspect Pinegen have that most hated of things an Indian Callcentre
  2. Yes it would be too far for a disabled person to walk with ease. If my memory isnt playing tricks i'm sure theyve used a shuttlebus for previous big meetings at the stadium. They always use shuttlebuses for the OUFC games. Maybe with options of online booking for meetings, a parking space can be reserved at the same time with priority given to those who need it most.
  3. Needs permission off the boss before he can answer
  4. Hopefully for those driving there will still be the option of parking at Unipart. Oxford United use it as an overflow facility for sellout matches
  5. I remember hearing Danny Baker talking about the New Den and saying a Feng Shui expert had said that Millwall's poor form was due to the way the stadium was positioned and having blue seats
  6. Mine arrived today. i've had a few late deliveries over the years as in the friday instead of thursday. Since April this year i've had a lot of friday/saturday deliveries, which in the current climate i'm not going to moan at the Royal Mail about. Had one missing copy, phoned on the tuesday and the replacement arrived on the wednesday. Very tempted to go digital for my next renewal, Do my bit for the planet and more cost effective for Pinegen i should think.
  7. i'm surprised how small the pits are at Somerset, If there was a way to alter the track entrance i think they'd be good on the patch of land on the second bend.
  8. Maybe the Star would be interested in piece to print over a few issues in the winter.
  9. Its a fair bit better than Daugavpils. If that doesn't win the forum understatement post of the year i'll be shocked
  10. If you go to the Save Oxford Stadium YouTube channel a recording of the interview has been posted. I tried to copy the link but cant get it to paste, maybe some copyright issue, or me not doing it right
  11. From todays Oxford Mail https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/18871464.developer-sets-plan-regenerate-oxford-stadium-cowley/
  12. Hello Mr White Night Haven't seen any posts from you for a good while, hope you're keeping well in these strange old times
  13. If everything is as bad as this year but Elite Sportspeople and entourage able to travel. I'd suggest a GB double header Sheffield on the Friday. Belle Vue Saturday.
  14. You've answered your own question. If you took a drug that made you more relaxed you would be more likely to go for the ever decreasing gap.
  15. Steve i don't know if its ever crossed your mind but having read about your family history with Ivan Mauger, then your own riding career followed by your photography career, would. if you can put it into words or find a suitable ghost writer make a good book or series in the Speedway Star during the winter. Youv'e experienced the sport from near enough every angle.
  16. Please Please Pretty Please Did Wyer the Flyer give him a headstart and then smoke him like a kipper/Danish bacon
  17. Daft Idea warning Maybe when a subscription is up for renewal offer a free 2 week trial of the online edition, to give an opportunity for the subscriber to take a look and see if they would prefer to renew with the online option instead of print.
  18. Maybe they could have a couple more qualifiers from GP challenge and a couple less wildcards. If GP challenge was after the final GP maybe a ruling that if you finish outside of top 6 and don't qualify from the challenge then you cannot get a wildcard. Unless you missed X percentage of GPs through injury
  19. I daresay there's a loophole then where the peak isn't considered too be part of the helmet. I know the thinking was the camera could cause an injury but a peak mounted one could possibly do a lot of damage in a fall such as Jazon Doyle's at the weekend.. I also realise a lot of HSE type rules/laws are a fair bit into the beinv struck by lightning percentages.
  20. So you can wear a helmet cam for the media but not for your own use as its considered a danger.
  21. I thought it was banned years ago. Don't the riders nowadays have the fuel supplied by the track running the meeting ? I remember plenty of rumours about one prolific tuner of the late 80s onwards where if you used his engine you had to use his fuel. May have all been led by jealousy of the speed by other riders
  22. The tyre is hologated so shouldnt need testing unless the FIM think the compound has been changed. As for a rider tied into another manufacturer. Tough either get on with it or break your contract and use the other tyre
