Can Freddie ride having pulled out of last week's meeting as still feeling the affects of his GP get off ? Or is not riding due to the after effects of a get off, different to illness

The old first bend bunching scenario, does it say in the rulebook how far around the track the first bend ends or is it the officials decision ?

Strangely that's why I wrote unless the rules have changed. I was at a meeting in this country many moons ago where an incident happened and the referee put all 4 back.

It was a six of one and half a dozen of the other incident. Just put all 4 back in, unless the rules have changed a rider doesn't have to be excluded for the stoppage. Though I've only see it happen once in the donkeys years I've been watching speedway.

AB moved at the start 3 times. IMO due to the lack of consistency among referees the ruling should be changed. Every rider knows if they touch the tapes they're either off 15m or replaced by a reserve, while still having to have three rides. So allow them to move as much as they like like once the Greenlight comes on. If you touch the tapes along with your 15m handicap / reserve replacement you also get a fine. £50 in PL and £25 in CL with no financial penalty in NDL as those riders will as they move up, learn not to move. Fines to SRBF

Maybe he's been welcomed back with open arms. There's a few other CL clubs who could do with an upgrade at Reserve. Poole might be staking another claim on him before anyone else pounces. He's a talented lad and coming back from a bad injury, my personal opinion is Poole were to hasty to get rid of him, clubs have to have a youngster at reserve so at the very least stick with them unless they're almost getting lapped in every race.

More fool those who don't turn up to see NDL NJL, U21s etc. There's plenty of young talented lads out there who just need tracktime. I'll put my head above the parapet and say if the British U21 final was at Oxford the crowd would be 1K plus. Admittedly Oxford have a lot of speedway starved fans within a 50 mile radius. But I reckon there's a fair few CL clubs who'd like our crowds at NDL level.

That is a rarity. But as has been mentioned if you called off every meeting due to the forecast, teams would barely run a meeting.

But the promotion don't set the scale for refunds, thats set by either the BSPL or SCB. The track was perfect before the meeting as confirmed by the BSN coverage, it was only when the rain set in that problems arose. This meeting and as events unfolded - people moan Meeting called off and it doesn't rain - people moan Track too wet, dry, grippy, slick - people moan The common denominator is people moan whatever the circumstances, though in all the years i've been watching speedway is it's the same people who moan about everything.

How did he get the bike back to the pits ? To my untrained eye in the stadium he rode it there, it hasn't got pedals and isn't a hobbyhorse type bicycle. So there's either a massive slope that nobody has ever noticed or his engine was running.

I'll bow down to your positive attitude. It's no longer raining a mile from the track and the ground is hardly wet. Just spoke to a mate who is already there and the track is looking good.

One for the rulebook experts If you have a rider called up to ride in this meeting and also have a league match the same day are the team entitled to A guest, R/R or an NDL guest not riding in the Championship

I'm about a mile from the track and the rain is very light, been like it for an hour now and the ground isn't very wet and no puddles
