Would still have had to go with R/R for Christian and, with Simon only just back from illness, would have put more pressure on to the two reserves. As far as the Newcastle performance is concerned, do people not think that they will be thinking of Lewi? It has almost certainly got to affect them? To be honest, results don't particularly matter now. Let's get to the end of the season, re-group and come back in 2016.

Scunthorpe Away. Richard Hall is a guest for Christian. R/R for Lewi at number 2

Rye House V Newcastle... 1st August 7pm
StevePark replied to Shadders's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
When was the last time a Track Record was broken in Heat 15? We were up against it from the off and, had I known Simon had had to withdraw with illness, I might have thought twice about going down. Oh well, onwards and upwards. 4 hours kip before getting up to go down to Peterborough for the Fours! -
The same could be said, pretty much, of any track next to houses. If any track were to close down, then want to re-open, I'd be surprised if they wouldn't have to apply for planning permission again, which, nine time out of ten, would be turned down.

Add to Redcar - Scunthorpe and Plymouth that's 3 v 3 and don't forget the Millions of pounds that have had to be invested in Glasgow, that kind of thing happens once in a blue moon. Don't think NL would be the answer. Hardly anyone is turning up to watch PL (and no additional people turned up to watch PL at £10 a shot) and the local derby would be against Buxton.

David Howe Annonces His Retitrement
StevePark replied to Sotonian's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Write that book you mention David. Good Luck and thanks for the entertainiment you provided all down the years, especially your 15 point Max at Redcar when guesting for the Diamonds!!! -
No idea (and don't actually care). But all I'm saying is that he got his confidence back pretty quickly.
-
Can you please explain to me what all this actually means? Thanks!

So much for "lack of confidence" etc., etc.!

Not with a 3.84 average it doesn't.
