  1. From Berwick Facebook: TEAM NEWS After last night's bruising encounter both sides have been forced into changes ahead of today's match at Owlerton. Sheffield have replaced the unfortunate Zaine Kennedy with Redcar's Nathan Greaves, while the Mike Hope of Wooler LTD Bandits have brought in Jordan Stewart to replace the injured Coty García. The Bandits will also run rider replacement for the battered Jye Etheridge. Despite travelling to Yorkshire with a patched up side team manager Gary Flint insists that the spirits are high in the Bandits camp. Flint said, "Last night was one of they nights that just getting the win was the most important thing. We had a lot of crashes and that's taken its toll on a few boys but we have a good team spirit and that will help Jordan coming into the side for today's match."
  2. 30 miles north of Newcastle is about Rothbury. Try about 60 miles to be speaking with a Scottish accent.
  3. https://www.barrowafc.com/time-to-jump-on-the-bluebirds-train/?fbclid=IwAR0TWcXZhOVN-_mhaT2AF7kIV4sH1UugdM2Hd7MF_pZmNR18X-3wEHAq__Y Interesting that it says "It is not yet known if the game will take place at Borough Park or Derwent Park, but kick off will be 3pm."
  4. Almost on a par with Paulco then.....!!!!.....
  5. Effective on the first day of each month (so next set effective from 01 June). I can never remember when they are worked out to date wise though!
  6. Final Shield match of the season. Glasgow will have to find a guest for Luke Chessell, who has stepped down from his Tigers duties. Thomas Jorgensen is back for the Diamonds, after a long drive from Stansted.
  7. Simon got an extra (R/R) ride last night. He started poorly, but scored well in his last three rides. Danny beat Chessell in heat two (despite being 'beating up' after the first bend fall in the original running) and got his fourth ride, mainly due to the fact Max, despite winning heat 2, was poor in his next two rides.
  8. Let's look at some facts shall we? Kyle Bickley: NL debut 2017. Championship debut 2018. Danny Phillips: NL debut 2012. Championship debut 2016 including bad injury, when 'experts' advised him not to ride again and missed nearly a full season. Of course, your last comment is purely your opinion.
  9. That'll be because Berwick will have seniority over Saturday fixtures, I would guess?
  10. No offence, but would that discarded 2 pointer not be good enough, as he's been discarded? Just a thought.
  11. I've said it before and I will say it again (more than once probably), promoters can't win. If they go ahead and the forecast is spot on, it's "well, that was never going to happen, the forecast said so." Otherwise it's the comment above by iainb .
  12. They are running it tonight, so where's the problem?
  13. Leicester Speedway‏ @SpeedwayLions 9m9 minutes ago More MEETING ALERT Lions boss Stewart Dickson: “The forecast does not look good for tomorrow. We’ve a contingency plan which will be Sunday at 5.30pm. We’d like to thank the Newcastle promotion & riders for agreeing if necessary to run Sunday. A decision will be made at 9am Saturday.

  15. Would it not then go to a tribunal, like it did when we bought Matej Kus?
