With the exception of Belle Vue, you could argue that the Premiership is a Southern League anyway, add to that, you could argue the Championship is a Northern League, with the exception of Peterborough (?), Ipswich and Lakeside.

And no doubt it will be heralded as "the most important AGM for many years," and then, as you hint, sod all will be done except maybe bring back the Green helmet colour....

1995 & 1996 were the years of one big league (1997 was 6 man teams in the Premier/2nd Division). Middlesbrough used the 'blank R/R' rule all season in 1996 when Shane Parker was the number 1. There was a supplementary rule brought in for the R/R for the invisible man.

How many of the Promoters? If it was to be one league (whatever daft name they would come up with) I can see quite a few current Championship clubs closing, as they wouldn't be able to afford a top liner rider at number 1 (some can't afford one now).

They've done OK at home so far this season. The odd 'blip' was bound to happen.

The problem with that is Ludde and Matej can't ride with each other. At home I'd put Ludde at 5 and Tero at 2. Ash us doing OK at 3/4 in my opinion.

Not strictly true. A snapped chain can cause a rider to crash/fall, also a front wheel collapse and snapped handlebars too.

Carb problems, actually. He was changing the carb off the second bike to put onto his first bike, before being told that he was being replaced in heat 12.
