  1. Maybe I got that wrong but he is quite inconsistent, he can get 7 or 2 in a meeting which is why he ends up with 5 overall. Also I don't think he has any improvement in him whereas riders like Bailey and Edwards at Redcar still have plenty to come.
  2. Bit early to say Hagon is a crasher at his age, I think he has potential to be a decent rider, Ablitt is better than him at the moment but as a pair I think Hagon and Perry could be better than Ablitt and Harrison, we will have to see how it pans out. Lambo nearly got a max at Poole in the cup!
  3. Maybe next season in a weaker league he will improve but he has been quite inconsistent in the past.
  4. No convincing needed, Poole are a good team even with Thomsen, Scunthorpe have riders like Howarth and MPT who need to improve quite a bit from last season.
  5. No i don't think you were but I wasn't saying you should have got him instead of Ablitt, fully understandable you got Nathan as he rode for last season.
  6. I like Ablitt but I think Hagon has more improvement in him.
  7. Howarth is the weakest number one in the league, I would take Hagon over Ablitt anyday and Poole have the best top 4 in the league, Tobias Thomsen maybe a weak but then so is Mountain.
  8. We will see but in my opinion they look weak, not the weakest, i would agree about 5th.
  9. I think Hagon is better than Ablitt, as is Complin, Joe T and even possibly Liebman.
  10. Looks a poor team.MPT was poor last season and Howarth is not a good number one.
  11. Wear and tear on van, extra servicing costs, tyres etc unless all van costs are paid.Hotel rooms unless they always sleep in the van. Food costs more if you dont eat at home and its tiring travelling long distances and tiredness leads to eating more than you would normally. I would expect an allowance for fuel, i would not expect every mile of fuel is paid as some fuel would be for personal use.
  12. I think in that particular race she certainly seemed to pick the better lines but if she is competitive with a 5 point rider then she should achieve over her current average so as long as she does that then all good, if on the other hand that race turns out to be a one off then she may not achieve her assessed average, either way a brave move by Workington who are looking like a decent team.
  13. Best top 4 but that wont win anything if the bottom end is poor
  14. I agree with that, Hagon will do well, probably one of the best two pointers in this league.
  15. Agree with you there Steve, the good thing is Thomsen cannot drop below 4 so he can be changed during the season or I have got it wrong and he turns out to be a good signing.
  16. No of course not but I would expect him to know about other teams due to his links with Poole management.
  17. Well as a sponsor he would know more than the average fan and would consequently would know more about other teams.
  18. I doubt any rider would be told during the season that they are not wanted the following season .
  19. Poole cannot of known in August that Brennan would be available or did they? You would have thought Darcy first recommendation to Tate would be Poole.
  20. That is how Lawson keeps his average down. No so silly Rocketman.
  21. Yes I agree could be track time could be a factor. No idea why Poole track can't be used more when we are not racing.
  22. It does seem the inference is that Workington knew they was high chance they would be moving up and Tate would be available, doesnt mean they knew the points limit at that stage or that it was a certainty he would sign for them .
