  1. Yes agreed Crump unfortunate not to win more titles which was because of Tony.
  2. On track heat of the moment stuff I think, always liked Crumpy, fantastic rider and top bloke.
  3. Crump helped him to calm down I seem to remember which was nice of him and important as I think Holder needed it. Even in league racing Nicki has made some horrific moves but later on he did seem to get decisions go against him, unfairly in some cases.
  4. I was a bit worried for Holder especially with the aftermath with Pedersen and his mechanics, I thought it might affect him in the re-run. If the decision had gone against him Pedersen could have won the title. He has had injuries which has hindered him, I talked to him last year at Poole and he said he still remembers the Coventry crash vividly, he said he feared he would not walk again let alone ride a bike.
  5. Who did he average 6.5 for, that must have been his best season . Poole signed Kyle knowing that he was capable of improvement at his hometown club, Starke has been going downhill for several seasons and is not worth the risk.
  6. I am a bit gutted Anders isnt back, improving and I thought he did a good and a pleasure to see him at Cardiff.
  7. So dropped over 2 points off his average in 2 seasons, there is no reason to suggest he can reverse that trend
  8. Yes you have mentioned that before, if Kyle can't be fitted in with the lowered averages then that would be a shame assuming the shoulder op goes well.
  9. I love Kyle at Poole because of his commitment to the team and he is local plus he put well over a point on his average, always liked Starke too but his average is dropping which doesnt mean he is on a bargain average just means he isnt as good as he was
  10. You are joking, Kyle had a good season, faded a bit at the end unfortunately but always gives his all for Poole. Starke has gone downhill and is a risk for any team.
  11. It could have gone either way, Dirty Nicki hit his front wheel when he clamped Holder but I know we all see things differently and with another referee Holder could have gone. The other thing to consider is it was the first bend so it could easily be seen as first bend bunching and the referee took that option.
  12. Good point, probably because Holder rode for Sheffield last season.
  13. We are winners, couple of bad meetings doesn't change that . We may have missed out on the major trophies this season but our record overall takes some beating.
  14. Name calling again, why haven't you been banned.
  15. It was no fluke and at Coventry I thought he would be lucky to walk again. He isnt the rider he was but I thought he did a good job for Sheffield overall.
  16. It was on the first bend and it was Pedersen who had a bit of a reputation!! It was a 50-50 call because Pedersen clamped him and touched his front wheel and in true Nicki style tried to play with Holders mind by having an altercation afterwards.
  17. Oh ok rotten luck, seemed pivotal at the time
  18. Oh shame as I think that 5-1 had a big affect on the overall result
  19. Yes unfortunately another victim of the numbers as was Danny King last season although as you know, I am not his biggest fan and let us down at the most important time as did Lawson, I havent heard what was the matter with Lawson's bike last night when on a 5-1
  20. I expect it was pretty good, not a bad meeting, quite a lot of passing.
  21. Well done to Scunthorpe and a real captains performance, our captain wasnt so good.
  22. Fair enough they were better on the night, Simon Lambert outstanding
