I don't think many Poole fans were claiming winning the league in 2010. The format is there to add excitement to the end of the season and mostly it delivers.

Lawson was not going to make an impact on any gate in heat 15. Holder was a big loss and Howarth guesting was a mistake, not sure who else could have ridden but I wouldn't have picked Howarth.

It is not even a comparison because our comeback Monday was like M City winning 4-0 at half time.

What happened before a wheel was turned is not relevant now, what is important now is how we perform in the final. No many expected us to beat Somerset and even less expected it after 7 heats Monday but through grit and determination and a unwillingness to lie down and accept defeat we are in the final. Middlo gets a lot of flak some of it is justified but his input is vital on nights like Monday and should be rightly praised, if we had lost there would be plenty clamouring for his head.

Not a stunning comeback lol. 12 down on aggregate with 3 races to come for the world champ.! Pre-season and team we had at the start is irrelevant. We had to get 3 5-1 advantages just to get level. It was like M City were 4-0 down at half time against Liverpool. Anything less than a Poole win is always failure for us and i can imagine the flak we would have got had we lost.

Wouldn't say brainless just a. misjudgement, many riders have clipped the back wheel of the rider in front.

The fight and determination we have shown against Somerset was amazing. Harris was the star but they all contributed and it was a massive effort. Kings Lynn are the bookies favourites and rightly so but we can do this no question. As i now realise Harris can't take a replacement ride it would be a worry going that route as a reserve would have to take a ride.

The deserved champs will be the winners.Poole did an amazing job at Somerset and then nearly threw it away at home but Bomber saw to it all the effort was not in vain. Kings Lynn are the lucky ones there the ones with the full team.

Well I didn't expect that Bomber rolling back the years to that race in Cardiff, Doyle had 3 laps to pull away but took it easy as he thought it was done and dusted. Meeting started like we would get stuffed but we showed we have the fight when it mattered. Even a Rebels 5-1 in heat 12 and Worrall's poor ride in heat 14 didn't dampen our spirit and Harris showed he still has guts and spirit. I was one Poole fan who has always liked him and last night he was amazing. We struggled early on don't know why, Somerset's reserves were on fire but what a comeback. Middlo and Harris really got them going in the second half of the meeting. Someone posted there was a curfew never heard that one before.

That is a fair post with no reference to starman who is clearly having a bad day! Summers did only score 2points last time and Howarth 3 so not sure what difference it makes but Howarth isnt going well, the main difference is Lawson doesn't get a extra ride and although he wasn't great in the Somerset leg does usually go quite well at Poole.

I think this late change weakens Somerset Howarth 3 from 4 for Wolves in his most recent meeting at Poole plus Lawson can't have a replacement ride
