  1. There is little doubt Hans would give his all if he guested but i think you would go with Batch as he is a better rider at the moment if you have to get a guest. Cook like Bewley is irreplaceable at Belle Vue but Batch has guested fot Poole in the past and given it everything and he must hate Buster Chapman paaionately.
  2. Well he overtook on a couple of occasions at Somerset in the league match but in general he doesn't overtake much but is a decent rider to have at reserve. Not sure about the gates but i take your point it may better to save 1 and 3 for heat 2 but as last monday showed this meeting has all the signs of going all the way.
  3. He guested at Poole earlier in the season and scored a lot of points and going to reserve will help his confidence. He may not be in great form but he is a good rider who could easily beat our reserves.
  4. Not sure of the value of getting Etheridge in as a guest for Riss as he was sacked by the club. As for Cook unless he rides at his best BV maybe better with a guest. The plus for Kings Lynn fans is how good NKI went in the gp last night along with RL looks a formidable pair to have in the latter stages of the meeting.
  5. Feel for BV and everyone connected with them, terribly bad luck and hope Cook is ok to ride monday.
  6. I attended that meeting too and i am in complete agreement.
  7. NKI has ridden since, i believe his withdrawal was precautionary. Proctor rode last night so should be a full KL team although TP is coming back from injury like Worrall. Worrall is still struggling for fitness in my opinion as he seems to start meetings well then fades later on. I take your point about full teams and Bewley is a big miss along with Worrall not being fully fit, it could depend on the guest BV get for Riss.
  8. I think this is another meeting where it may be close in both legs with riders from both sides riding both tracks well. As a pair i think the top two riders from each team are well matched but Robert Lambert is almost unbeatable at Kings Lynn so that's to their advantage and lower down the order Kings Lynn will show their strength in depth.
  9. In that situation the medics go on the information the rider gives them mostly to make their decision. In my opinion given Troy's history if he felt any discomfort he would want to withdraw and he shouldn't have rode at Leicester but rode because he was afraid of the backlash if he didn't.
  10. I agree next monday will be a tight but i didn't think for one second that we would keep it so close, May certainly helped and now we have a massive chance to get to the final. If Middlo can work his magic once again and the riders can give everything like they did at Somerset we have a great chance but i remember us drawing Belle Vue in the final and only just scraping home a few years ago so its certainly not over and Covatti at reserve will be a big plus for Somerset.
  11. Think we need to worry about Somerset first with Covatti at reserve they are not out of it yet.
  12. Yes you are right, Covatti especially as I think he drops to reserve for that meeting. They do rely on young Robert Lambert but he has been very reliable this season especially at home.
  13. I see the bookies have Kings Lynn as favourites and if NKI can get himself in to some reasonable form I can't really see anyone stopping them but we did well the other night and we have had some good results at Saddlebow Road that is if we get past Somerset who have been very good at Wimborne Road this season.
  14. Yes you are correct there, I don't remember any Somerset fans praising Poole for their efforts on Monday.
  15. Roll on Monday when we can all watch the racing at the NSS on tv, should be a cracker with Kings Lynn in town, NKI, Robert Lambert and of course an in form Riss! Same name completely different ability.
  16. Well i thought he would be a good guest, must have someone up their sleeve for the play offs.
  17. Personally i think 14 points is way too much to pull back especially with Doyle and Holder in town. 8 may have been doable.
  18. Well he is riding better now but it was bad luck for him and Belle Vue. He could have been replaced though with a in form rider.
  19. He's back now though for the cup and the play offs so you have covered his absence.
  20. Any amount of good luck won't help turn a 14 point deficit unless Somerset get a couple of injuries and i'm sure you wouldn't wish that on them. Apart from Bewley what other bad luck have you had?
  21. I wouldn't say that because I have been to many good meetings on smooth tracks, the NSS is smooth and when Kings Lynn track is prepared well it can produce great racing too but the odd rut or two does help sometimes, riders usually say they like smooth tracks which is strange because as soon as they see a rut they aim for it especially if they are not winning.
