Based on current form I think he will outscore Starke and I always said Starke would beat BWD who was returning from injury. Hans was injured and although it backfired it wasn't cheating. As you know I have never defended Matt Ford when I think he was cheating but the Hans situation he was clearly injured. With a couple of weaknesses at reserve we had a much better chance but now the reserves are at best more equal so I can see the meeting being very close so we will need a bit of luck to get any lead at all.

Everyone knows Kyle strengthens Swindon, I don't know why anyone would think differently, his current average isn't a reflection of his ability after a very poor start after coming back from injury. BWD may in the future prove to be a better rider than Kyle but not at the moment and I fully expect Newman to outscore Starke given there comparable scoring of late.

As I have said days ago Kyle will want to stick two fingers up to Matt Ford for sacking him and I don't blame him for that especially when the rider that replaced him is his opposite number. Most Poole fans know Kyle on form is a very good rider at Poole and he should have the beating of Starke. I have said when Kyle was sacked it was a mistake and I stand by that opinion and another mistake was letting Kerr go, so you reap what you sow. Matt Ford have made some dodgy moves in the past so it isn't surprising that some see it as karma. Another thing in Newman's favour is conditions he won't care what the conditions are he will just give it everything as usual. If he scores a hatful it won't go down well with the fans but if some think he won't try because it is against Poole I think you are mistaken.

All I am saying is that Lahti has been a different rider lately, you can see that from the way he has ridden and in those meetings he has had 7 rides more often than not. I appreciate Musielak is a top rider and will be very difficult to beat, all I am saying is having seen him ride home and away, although I couldn't attend his latest meeting at Somerset I am positive he can give Musielak a tough night. I think a rider v rider argument is valid and a good guide to how the meeting might pan out but obviously thinks happen in meetings that no one can account for. There is no doubt Musielak has changed Swindon from a good team in to title favourites.

It's Wimborne Road by the way, Lahti has been flying lately, in much better form than when Swindon last visited and although we would like to still be at reserve, on the form he is in he is more than capable of beating Musielak, he won't score as many points now that he isn't a reserve but his improvement isn't just because he has been riding against lower class riders.

If you look at the updates from Peterborough, it is a bonus for Poole that Jack seems to be in good form, therefore should be capable of 7-8 points but i feel the reserve battle could be key with it seems very little between BWD and Starke although i think Shanes should have the edge over Davey. Overall it could be a close meeting and maybe a bit of luck either way or a rider from either side not performing that could swing it and with no tactical rides that could be in Poole's favour as we haven't got a rider like Doyle who should be unbeatable on a double points ride. Swindon are favourites and logically with the riders they have should win over two legs but sometimes speedway isn't logical and strange results happen hopefully!

Yes i think the format works well for tv and i think they have improved the time delays so it isnt too bad if your attending the meeting especially as you can watch the other meeting on the big screen.
