That is true, Hougaard is ok but not Fricke, Jacobs rode well tonight but he is a different rider away from home. Belle Vue certainly have some home advantage. They could pick Wolves hopefully!

After a couple of races i thought Buczkowski did well in heat 13 so i think he could be getting his confidence back, so a number of positives from a Poole perspective.

He has to be injured though, if he rides in the SEC and proves his fitness how can we replace him unless we are going to come up with the aggravated injury scenario.

It appears his operation went well and i believe he is hoping to be fit for the Euro Champs meeting at the weekend but i think that is more in hope than expectation. I hope he makes the playoffs so we could have our full team and i am sure he wouldn't let anyone down if he was fit.

Tungate shouldnt be riding tonight after his performances lately

Hans got 6 last time and Bucko 4, Tungate got 3 at Poole the other day against a very weak team. We will see but rather have Hougaard than Tungate on current form, can't be any worse than Klindt at Wolves, that is actually impossible!!

I don't think many Poole fans are jealous. The stadium is a fantastic facility and we all want it to succeed. Fricke missing is a blow for them but Hougaard is a good guest and is going well so you can't say it is a big blow. Newman is a bit up and down just hope he has an up! The track should suit Bucko but his form is a worry and coming back from injury. Can't see us winning but could be a close one, to say we should win by 10 is ridiculous.

Personally think the fact it is on tv has more of a bearing on crowd levels than the playoff format. In my opinion the playoffs have been good for the sport as a whole and re-generated interest and it is the only thing Sky are concerned about. If we didn't have playoffs i don't think it would be on tv anymore and i don't think any club could afford to live without the tv money.
