  1. That is true but last night was a level above and some on here said Starke would be a good guest and made no difference. Yes he would have been the best alternative but a huge difference i think you would agree.
  2. Not many that have been introduced during the season we are in.
  3. I think Richie Worrall's form last night although obviously he rode well, it was at a track he used to be a heat leader at. Be different at Poole if we make it.
  4. Jonsson's average wasn't asked to be re-assessed, Woffinden's average wasn't either, why would they! If the world champion is allowed to ride on a 7 point average why should a lesser rider be higher?
  5. True i think a fit Hans would have scored more.
  6. Like all of us he has his good days and bad days but he has been off form but picked the right time to bounce back! He was also pretty good at Wolves last time. Not sure he would of kept Holder at bay for four laps the form he is in. Nah just a great start as usual.
  7. I woiuldn't worry about Bjarne, he obviously wasn't fully fit and still suffering from whatever it was that stopped him riding at Gniezno last weekend, he was very good last time at Wolves although riding at reserve is easier i would expect an improved performance.
  8. Pretty happy with that myself, Wolves will be good practice for defending a lead away from home as i expect if we get through we will be at Belle Vue in the 2nd leg.
  9. No not won anything yet but good result last night. Give Poole benefit of the doubt!! Comedy Gold!!
  10. Well unfortunately this was always on the cards, surely a guest was the best option, can't understand how they thought r/r would work, Nicholls is excellent there, Richie Worrall rode there. I thought with luck they could at least win by 4-6 and make it remotely interesting but not a chance they couldnt even beat a reserve in heat 13!
  11. Poole have never choked, been beaten by a better team but not choked.
  12. Well what a cracker of a meeting, i did ask before who would be a let down and really both new riders Woffy and Lindback did. Holder magnificent, Newman terrific, Bucko battled hard so did Brady, Ellis a bit unlucky at times, didn't expect a good score from Bjarne but hope he is better on monday. We have some riders that go well at Wolves so hopefully have enough points to hang on.
  13. Last time saw him he fell off twice and then withdrew from the meeting. It could be he isn't in the form of his life. Howarth always looks like he is over riding!
  14. Zagar is hit and miss at his own track let alone Lakeside. I hope the Hammers put up a fight they are in form but will need a decent lead to defend.
  15. So who will let their team down tonight? Woffy? PK? Lindback? Buczkowski?
  16. I would agree they are all comfortable at Lakeside so it should be a cracking meeting with some good close racing.
  17. I would say that is more to do with your quality of rider than your riders like small tracks otherwise that would be quite a problem on your home track!
  18. I don't think anyone declared Hans unfit until it was confirmed that Hans wouldn't be able to take his place in the Euro championship and Hans confirmed he was out for season. What was said was it was likely Hans would be out for the season which was fair comment considering the hand had to be operated on.
