  1. Ok fair enough but if it is meaningful without the play offs its meaningful with the play offs with top spot so important. Looking forward to the play offs should be some cracking racing
  2. With a big lead and two home meetings to come very unlikely you would lose top spot.
  3. You cant compare sports like multi million pound football to speedway where fans pay fortunes to see their team. When i went to Cardiff practice the streets were heaving with their teams homecoming after the euros and they didnt even win.
  4. Doubt it most would see it as a no contest easy win so not surprised at the lack of interest.
  5. After you have two easy home wins against Coventry and Leicester and Poole lose at Wolves you will have a 8 point lead over us with a couple of meetings left.
  6. You can't really believe this meeting will be close, a walk in the park.
  7. I am sure we all regret the loss of the cups, individual competions pair competions etc . i only said meaningless because you keep going on about meaningless play offs. The 12th September meeting would be meaningless in a normal league season because you will have already wrapped up top spot by then.
  8. One would hope speedway riders rode every meeting as if it was a play off final, that rarely happens but it should be a good meeting hopefully as the cameras are there. Quite funny Fred Flange liked your post as it is him who constantly goes on about meaningless meetings.
  9. Well i am going to this one and i very rarely don't enjoy the racing at Monmore, It may be a small track but has wide bends and you do get a lot of passing. If Hans can't make it Danny King would be a good guest, please not Nicholls don't want another Belle Vue rider guesting and putting in a terrible performance.
  10. Remember that day very well, he was amazing that day.
  11. To be honest even with KK they would struggle to get anything out of the meeting but now it's a forgone conclusion.
  12. Yes i think we can agree the play offs are great for all teams fighting for the top four spots and are the most exciting meetings in the league calendar.
  13. Just replying to your meaningless qualifiers comment which involves all teams hoping to make it to the all important play offs. Lakeside fans always think they are just making up the numbers but they have a massive home track advantage so anything is still possible. Belle Vue will top the table now so the Belle Vue meeting on the 12th is meaningless and would have been meaningless with or without the play offs but good practice for Poole.
  14. But you are capable of getting a point at either venue so your not out of it yet.
  15. There not meaningless if your Lakeside or Swindon! should be a good meeting at Lakeside when Swindon visit and a play off place is on the line, a meeting that hardly anyone would bother with if it wasn't for the amazing play offs.
  16. Fricke was just feeling guilty for his Leicester performance big crowd for the top of the table clash and Sky rarely turn up on a thursday.
  17. Yes i can appreciate that, always liked KK and he has ridden well this year. Unfortunately Hans isn't much better than last year!
  18. That could be good news for his confidence and more in line with his ability.I feel we would be better overall with Kurtz at reserve and Ellis as second string bcause i think Bjarne can cope with heat leader better, good performance tonight.
  19. As i said before KK has never let Poole down and was faultless, shame that he can't guest for us again. Hans is not KK and would not have scored as well so on that basis we are not favourites. Unfortunately Kurtz is proving me right and should have stayed PL for another year and we should have kept Kacper. Fricke was obviously feeling guilty about his abysmal performance at Leicester!
  20. Fair enough forgot about the rolling averages for a moment. Unfortunately it seems we have to stick with Bjarne at reserve.
  21. So the assessment is from a previously established MA , not really assessed as they used the average they finished on. If a rider starts the season on the same average he finished on in a previous season that isn't assessed, that is just using that previous season's average.
  22. No they didn't Buckowski's was from 2014 at Leicester.
  23. We were talking about Buckowski not Kasprzak. Neither started on an assessed average.
