  1. And the organisers and the riders don't care if the fans are short changed as long as they get paid for half a meeting, if they did they would return half their pay and the organisers would return the price of the tickets, this may be being done but i haven't read it is. One of the benefits of having a gp in a covered stadium is to give fans peace of mind that the meeting will not get cancelled or not run fully.
  2. The fans are the big losers here, some friends were considering going to this one and they are so glad they didn't, what a farce. The track looked raceable to me and Cardiff was like that in the early days, when Harris won Cardiff the track was worse than last nights in my opinion. What is it with riders these days, got to have perfect conditions or they want it called off.We had the german gp a few years ago called off for rain in a covered stadium and now they can't even prepare a track to last one meeting.
  3. Don't know why it wouldn't suit Poole, don't think any of our riders will worry about track conditions too much.
  4. I think the food has improved my sausage and chips from the back straight outlet was pretty good.
  5. Bjerre didn't ride well against poole at Kings Lynn either, one reasonable race in heat 13, he has always been a bit inconsistant but seems to be getting worse.
  6. I am more than happy to see Josh ride instead of Rory.
  7. Yes you have a point there, still i may be able to make monday whereas i couldn't today so all good.
  8. Just because he is our asset doesn't mean he can go back on his agreement to ride in all of Somerset's meetings.
  9. More rain expected later in swindon area about 5-6 oclock so if thats correct meeting will be off
  10. At least partially due to his form at the end of last season.
  11. And Rory's even better than the rider Josh is replacing! Absolute masterstroke.
  12. But he's guesting for Josh G who is a PL double upper so we can only have a PL guest or so i thought.
  13. I would agree, rarely have i been to a poor meeting at Wolves although i only attend occasionally, i do think it is one of the best tracks and i would also agree that Peterborough is also and a shame they are no in the EL any more, i have also seen some terrific racing at Swindon and of course Poole. some seem to be blaming the weather but Poole were there last week and there was the only genuine pass that comes to mind is when Iversen passed Dakota North in heat 15. Ellis fell heavily in that meeting so maybe he had a bit of extra track knowledge the other away riders lacked but what i would say is that the track was not at fault for Ellis falling.
  14. I agree with you, it may be a tight track but i've seen meetings there when there have been passing in almost every race and usually an enjoyable evenings entertainment.
  15. In last years EL final, Janowski overtook Hans And Harris in one race, so it can't be just the bikes are different and it wasn't because the Poole track was full of holes and as i have said the racing at Peterborough was always exciting and i suspect it still is.
  16. I am no track guru but i have been to Kings Lynn many times over the last few years and just isn't the same as it used to be,very few riders seem to be able to overtake and it wasn't much better last week when Poole were there. My own track gets a lot of flack most of which is fair but if your going to claim it is the best track then there should be some passing in a meeting. I haven't been to Peterborough lately but i bet they get more passes in one race than we had tonight.
