He should be sacked for not putting his best rider in the last heat -

That as may be but I cant see them changing the rule anytime soon, its keeps teams close and the paying public interest is kept for longer and it is good for tv. -

There seems to be people on here demeaning polands. achievement just because they used the rules to their advantage which denmark would have done had they been in the same position. While you may not agree with the joker rule it creates excitement just as a tac rule does in normal league racing. -

Poland were the better team, when milik fell bjerre was last, he won the re-run, if milik didnt fall bjerre would be third at best with dudek winning, thats a 4 point turnaround lucky for bjerre unlucky for dudek and poland wouldnt have used the joker and kasprzak would have been third in his race instead of feigning a breakdown. Poland were the better team and deserved champs -

Bjerre bottled it more, off gate 1 let kasprzak by him -

If we had a referee who made a correct decision then poland wouldnt have had the chance to use the joker, kasprzak would have come third instead of feigning a breakdown and poland would still have won, the joker is there to compensate for crap decisions,if the czechs were in contention the decision may have been different. -

People have to realise the joker like the double tac ride in the league is their to keep the meeting close, denmark. should have won but they lost not because of the joker but because nicki broke down, bjerre failed to beat kasprzak when he was off gate 1 and kasprzak gate4 and janowski beat iversen. Up to the joker demark had all the luck -

Funny how the best riders always wanted to ride for him, I remember crumpie saying the only person he wanted to ride for was middlo. -

I think the poles will do it, they dont appear to have any weak links and dudek is going to be world champ one day -

I didnt think we would win but without harris kill switch problem and tai coming last we could have been in a winning position going into the last four races, latvia obviously have some good young talent and fisher and wells upped their game from event2. The surprise element was woodward he rode out of his skin and greg was fantastic but overall luck didnt favour us. I felt all along the smoother style of danny king would be better than barker or bridger and sadly proved right. I actually thought lewis did ok but barkers only decent race was on harris's bike so why didnt we try that earlier. -

The way Pedersen and Hancock were riding and the fact that Harris hardly ever makes the gate, couldn't see any reason for thinking Harris would have won that race and there was absolutely no chance of us winning that meeting whatever the management team did. Don't know what you think of Mark Lemon letting Watt have four rides for one point!! -

Don't see it would have made any difference, Harris would have only scored a point more as Pedersen and Hancock were in that race and anyway probably thought he had more chance of beating MJJ. -

Don't all riders have to have 3 rides. -

When i said does it matter, i was referring to the manager not having the paperwork to manage therefore letting the assistant manager have the title which has nothing to do with any so called mistakes he has made. But while we are on the subject who is praising him for the right tactical call on the joker this time? You will probably say that's the only decision he has got right in all his time as GB manager, i suppose the time we nearly won it in 2004 was his fault too. Don't why you brought up Poole's bad luck in losing the league which was not Middlo's fault. -

Leaving out Cook wasn't a mistake, the mistake was having Kennett in the team in the first place and Cook only rode to see if he was up to the task and came up a little short, he has a future in the gb team and i am sure he will be back but going with more experienced young riders now in a world cup race off is the right thing to do. -

Cook should not be a starter he has had his chance, King, Barker and Bridger are all better alternatives. Agree about Barker but personally would have used King. -

seeing as King has a higher average than Barker, Bridger or Cook and goes well at big tracks, can anyone explain why he isn't in the team. -

We certainly had no home advantage, Kings Lynn was made for the danish riders, Niels rides there, Pedersen used to ride there and at one time held the track record, Bjerre always goes well there and the last time MJJ rode there he got 17!!.
