  1. We will see. I think in two years time Lindback will be a top 5 rider and a real threat for the title. That he may be, but he has to get his head sorted out first! If things don't go his way in a race he throws his toys out - big time, and that is just in EL meetings! At the moment Antonio is the Tomasz Gollob of 95/96 and needs to calm his eratic riding quickly before he becomes as disliked as Tomasz was!
  2. Excuse me ? I was on a slow boat yesterday to the Isle of Wight! Mind you, I soon came back again !
  3. V.V. for a start my discussions with FlyinRyan have been around my support of the Aussies in their qualifier and the Race Off! Yes I admit to be a good friend of Neil's, I have known him for many (Many!) years but that doesn't mean that I will not criticise if there is just cause for that! You suggest that I have no passion for speedway! Maybe you should check with people that were within a 50m radius of me during each of the SWC rounds, there are plenty that say they have not known anyone be so pasionate about speedway before! I am not happy that Team GB did not win on Saturday, however, I am not going to blame any of the riders, management, track or anything else for that happening. I am (like many other British Supporters) gutted at only getting silver, yet still proud of the boys for all giving it 110%. We could go on for ever about the "what if's" and "if only's" but that will not change the fact that we ended Saturday as runners-up in a meeting which will be remembered for a longtime, not necessarily for the right reasons! As for being ignored and going away! That isn't going to happen and I am taking your latest post as offensive!
  4. I supported the Brits on Monday at Eastbourne and Saturday at Poole when they were riding! Tuesday and Thursday I was supporting the Aussies (I view them as relations of ex-brit convicts anyway - lol) It has nothing to do with cake (note to self, go get some cake in a minute, hungry) just that I know most of the Aussies and support them WHEN Team GB are not racing! Also, I may be from Poole but that didn't stop me getting rather annoyed (uderstatement) when Antonio lost control and too Boycey off!
  5. Oh Sandman! You always know how to lighten a moment! Thanks
  6. Exactly! I was an Aussie Fan on Tuesday and Thursday Night but I ain't from Oz!
  7. The threat (as it was) was apparently aimed at me on a previous post! Not too sure what or how anything can come back and bite me! Angel that I am!
  8. Don't let him hear you calling him a queen! Give Trick his due though, he is a fantastic mover, on the dance floor aswell as on the track!
  9. `Neil's a Brit of all right - Rickardsson by Phil Chard In the Bournemouth Daily Echo - Tuesday 10th August 2004 SWEDISH star Tony Rickardsson has admitted that if they hadn't won the Speedway World Cup, he would have wanted Team Great Britain to have lifted the Ove Fundin Trophy. The former Poole rider has also stressed he believes Team GB team manager Neil Middleditch has almost single-handedly raised the profile of the competition. And the five-times World individual champion has labelled RIAS Pirates boss Middleditch "the best team manager I have ever ridden for." Rickardsson, whose Swedish side pipped Team GB by one point to win the World Cup Final at Poole on Saturday, said: "If I wanted anyone else other than Sweden to win, it was Great Britain and Neil Middleditch for when I was riding for Poole. "I saw a tear in his eye after the final. It means so much to him, only being beaten by one point on his home track. "It is heart breaking. I know it is only sport but he has really put back the prestige of the competition into the riders along with the likes of Jacob Olsen of Denmark. "That has really boosted everyone to really try harder to be in it. "The way he fires up the British boys is unbelievable. I have never seen them so concentrated. "We were out boating the day before the final on two separate boats when we met up at Saltern's. "Usually they would come over, say hello and have a joke with us, but this time it was different. "It was `how are you? Are you okay?' They were more serious. They wanted to show us they meant business. "Neil has really inspired them to do wonders. I'm sure that he is worth 10 points to them, sometimes. "I have to say he is the best team manager I have ever ridden for. He is very, very special. "There are very few people like that these days. "He does the job based on pure English grit. "If I was fighting a war, I wouldn't like to fight against him."
  10. Oh Sue that is so sad! You need your space, tell him that! As a question to all the married women out there: Am I the only one here that has a fantastic husband that lets me go off to whatever speedway meetings I want to go to, and even pays for some of them? Also, if I want to go to Oxford and don't fancy the drive back alone, he will take me up there!!!!!!!!!! Anyway Sue, you have to come back down to Poole again as I didn't get to see you on Saturday! and that was after you came in the entrance where Shaz and I were working too! Shame on you!
  11. Exactly where has Chris Louis suddenly come from in all this? Everyone moaned about him being given a GP Wildcard at Cardiff! I think if you bother to actually speak to Chris (sorry, do you actually speak to the riders?) you will find that he was more than happy to be in the studio and not out there on the track!
  12. Wow! It has taken you this long to tell him that? I admire your restraint!
  13. "and kids" is very worrying please don't do that to me! If you were gonna do your name dropping you should have named all 8 of them too! You were a joy to have down here and are welcome back at anytime! Though maybe on your next visit you can leave your kids at home and enjoy the evening more at speedway without worrying about them! You should try to get a weekend pass in September, meet me at Arena on the Friday for Leigh Lanhams Testimonial, come back down to Poole with me on the Saturday, stay for the ELRC on the Sunday and travel home on the Monday!
  14. My understanding was that Ipswich have R/R for Hans tonight! Apparently he has a Hand/Wrist Injury! I say no more........
  15. Despite the comments made I will still reply to this part of you message! Although I was not impressed with Hans letting PK by last night in such an obvious way, this did not stop me from being nice (and polite) to him in the bar, I have known Hans since he first came over here in Jan 01 and he is a great guy, just a nightmare on a bike sometimes! I also agree that the comment made regarding the breezeblock was well out of order.
  16. At least Trees supports the Brits unlike you and your little boyfriend! which reminds me, maybe you should mention to him to change his Avtar, a little pathetic to have a GB Body Colour!!!!!!!!! But maybe that suits in some way.
  17. That will not happen Trees! Our "dear friends" at Meridian love Hans SO MUCH...! he can do no wrong in thier eyes.............! If anyone is thinking of purchasing a lift may I suggest Stannah Lifts in Andover, much nicer company................. Bit like you and Boyce then. Difference being that Boycey is a very good friend of mine and I don't sponsor him, order him around, treat him like a taxi when visiting his country etc, etc, etc.............
  18. You are having a laugh about Rosco aren't you? He is also a great bloke and a great friend of mine, but no way would I even consider putting him in charge of Team GB! And as for a Chuckle Brother taking over, the only reason that would happen is because the other Chuckle Brother would stick his oar in! And - ponder on this one: If Middlo was asked to step down as Team GB Manager, how many Brits do you think would stand by him and refuse to ride for the new manager? I think there would be a very under par team out in SWC 2005 with the likes of Harris, Bird, Neath etc as all the top Brits would be unavailable, that is how strongly they feel about Middlo! On a final point, well done to the Brits, Gold would have been fantastic but Silver is the best for some time for us I am proud of all of you............. Also, Congratulations to the Swedes, though I could have done without Trick kissing me last night (sorry no smiley for throwing up)
  19. Well that's good to hear, now take away Andersen's share and give it to another brit! He's a dirty, unsporting rider, who'd want their company associated with him?? That will not happen Trees! Our "dear friends" at Meridian love Hans SO MUCH...! he can do no wrong in thier eyes.............! If anyone is thinking of purchasing a lift may I suggest Stannah Lifts in Andover, much nicer company.................
  20. Surely if he was on medication he should not have been out drinking with Streety earlier in the day anyway.........!
  21. Lanzilla, tut, tut, Tabby will be after you Tim! You know me so well!
  22. With just one comment Lanzilla, you have just lost a friend!
  23. Well, judging by these pictures I can't see many people complaining of not being able to see the racing! Still not sure where I will be once I have finished selling programmes mind!
