  1. Ex as in ex partner, they separated a yr ago or more.
  2. Fair enough, i wish they had the option to stay signed in on the login page like some other sites have tho, they/i had the same problems again last night where i had to go round theirs and sign back in for them to be able to watch the stream, when they left the BSN site last Friday they were still signed in but come yesterday they were signed out again, it's a right bloody pain at times as their to old to now to use to handset to fill in their email address n password so i av to go round there to do it for them, that's to whole point why i leave um signed in, it must be summit to do with the make of TV (Samsung) they have that signs them out after a certain period.
  3. Oh well not to worry, they still saved a tenna i suppose by getting an early season pass, did anyone else's stream keep freezing around heat 10/11 last night.
  4. I think it's only slightly discounted (£6) from £49 to £43 if you paid £120 for the season pass, my parents signed up early for the season pass which was only £109, but when they signed up for Pairs meetings they had to pay the full £49 and didn't get the £6 discount.
  5. Plus they had no power to the stadium at the timeif the Twitter post is genuine.
  6. Haps it looks dry coz the actually wasn't any rain to postpone itonly someone local to the track can answer that one.
  7. , but the real question is did the power supply or lack of it really cause the postponement or was it the weather or a bit of both, that we'll probably never know hey.
  8. I dunno how to copy the post but it said summit like " just to compound the weather situation the power supply to stadium had been cut (12.05) and still not restored" That was posted at 16.08 i think.
  9. The post is still on Scunthorpe Speedway Twitter page, i think it said it happened at 12.05 and posted on the page a few hrs later
  10. It was on Twitter that the power supply to the stadium had accidentally been cut at around midday.
  11. To be fair i've saved my parents many a wasted trip by checking on here or even got them to turn round on route if their already set out for a meeting an hr or so up the road.
  12. Exactly, my local club Ipswich always had t phone manned certainly midday onwards and could just phone up for an update if the weather looked dodgy, not sure if it's the same these days coz i just check on here if i need to.
  13. Like i posted earlier if the fanbase was 80% under 40's then haps they'd be up to speed with Facebook, Twitter and various club/speedway websites, but it's the other way round and the fanbase is probably 80% over 60/70's and the majority of them don't use social media or even know what it is or how to actually use it.
  14. I see a couple of ex Newcastle riders are in the wars, had a video flash up on my phone of a crash involved Rene Bach/Nicki Pedersen from 18th May, think Bach has a broken Femur and Pedersen has broken Ribs and a punctuated Lung according to early reports
  15. With speedway having mostly an ageing fanbase social media ain't really summit they actually use or even know how to use, that's most of the problem, my parents are both in their early 80's and wouldn't have a clue about which websites to use for information, best they would do is ring the track and hope someone actually picks up the phone.
  16. On the subject of females in the sport, sad to about Sophie Blake's (Scott Nichols ex) health issues in this wks speedway star.
  17. A women commentating on football is as bad, it just don't sound right to me, im not sexist and diversity is fine but for me it's a no no, I'd rather watch to match with the mute button on
  18. Hume scored pretty much what Starke would of got to be fair, problem lies when King, Riss and Batch only score 5 each
  19. What i ment was he had an experienced co-commentator alongside him with Nigel to bounce off, at the moment he's on his own apart from whichever guest sits next to him each wk.
  20. Yeah i thought the 3 of them worked well in their rolls and that being said im sure Kelvin in time will grow into the lead commentary roll, and like you mentioned i think Scott is better suited being in the pits/trackside then stuck in the studio as previous yrs.
  21. After hearing Rosco co-commentating on Tuesdays match on the streaming channel im not sure who comes across more of a numpty, Rosco or Sam
