  1. Considering we won by 6 and 8 in the A and B fixtures 10 would be a huge achievement.
  2. Good luck to the boys tonight. Hopefully we can get a big lead to take a select side in the return leg on Friday.
  3. That goes without saying. However BT's billing of showing the Play Offs is already a let down. I thought they appeared committed to the sport so the future doesn't look great for extending the contract.
  4. Wednesday is our off night not Tuesday anymore. Why should we go up against the Swedish Play offs? It's all immaterial anyway. Wolves already have next Monday as scheduled leg and restating date at NSS next Wednesday.
  5. We earned the right to have first choice by finishing 2nd. If Wolves now want to host the first leg on Monday they have every right too.
  6. Greaves has an average of 2.54 compared to a 2 of Smith and has really improved as the season has gone on. Smith is more than capable of the odd scalp at the that's true tho. shuttleworth isn't as good but has plenty of experience of the NSS at least. And outed. But not missed.
  7. It's all assumptive at this stage what will happen. It isn't up to Wolves to allow anything or get the rule changed to suit their opponents. It should be up to the governing body to recognise the farcical situation it has allowed itself to become. I don't think anyone, including Wolves fans, would be upset if common sense prevailed and RR was allowed. It's up to the BSPA to sanction all this tho and certainly not for Wolves promotion to be involved in.
  8. I agree. It's still classed as a recognised international fixture (although not by the BSPA) and he will be damned if he does of if he doesn't. Wolves fans won't be rubbing their hands with glee in the slightest. To be the best you want to beat the best. Taking out the Aces (stats will show they are the favourites) at full strength would set us up for the toughest challenge of beating the leagues top team in the final. This season hasn't been a waste of time at all. Only if you haven't had a good season maybe however.
  9. The rearranged date has been logged before today. Be no different if they rearranged a GP for Monday as it's an international known fixture.
  10. But weren't the play off dates also known from the beginning of the season?
  11. It most certainly is not. Someone else it has an axe to grind with.
  12. Pathetic that they have rescheduled the SEC meeting for Monday up against a recognised Play Off fixture. It's not like they would put it on Sunday now is it? You have to feel for the Aces if they have to race without their number one due to no fault of his or their own.
  13. Bless, the chums attacking someone who can't sleep. You both never fail to deliver. Bullies.
  14. I hear what you are saying too and you have had the pleasure of watching him develop more than me and maybe your expectation is heightened because of the hype around him. Woffy wasn't a big success straight away either and I fully expect Robert to develop into a top standard rider so long as he does things the right way and if that means concentrating on abroad then so be it.
  15. each to their own I guess. Completely irrelevant. We have a retired copper at my club who hasn't a clue about my sport so it doesn't help in the slightest.
  16. Personally I think he is still doing very well. His average has increased since 2016. Internationally he is making people sit up and take notice. (World Cup apart). I get the feeling he thinks British Speedway is a joke and we need to start looking after our better riders or else he too will opt out and progress further elsewhere. So much more pressure put on him this season than was necessary due to the selfish actions of others. The fact he was still able to add to his average despite all that pressure is pretty remarkable IMHO.
  17. Nobody's can be believed 100%. I certainly wouldn't trust the words of a non speedway fan.
  18. Some do yea. Some improve as the season moves on and is a good indicator to me of potential.
  19. If he isn't a speedway fan how did he know who was talking too?! Either way it depends who's story you believe.
