  1. First chance I've had to watch last night's match. Poole were Poor again away from home (other than at Monmore). Several crashes so I guess the usual suspect will be branding this track a 'horror' track as well?? However a decent meeting overall. Rye good at home but pants away. Whoever gets 4th will be fodder in the Play Offs.
  2. I had the same issue regards emoji's. They don't seem to show up so I use the hand typed ones. Can't see the emoji again. Likewise use an android tablet.
  3. Perfectly understood. I get that now, good choice of guest then. Wonder if this track will be called a 'horror' track too.
  4. My comment referred to your comments about Aces fans which seemed to put them all in the same category save for Youngy. Presumably, you did notice the emoji though, although strangely it doesn't appear in your quote of my post. No emoji I could see in your original post, not on my tablet anyway. Please let me clear up my thoughts then. There has been plenty of beef and attitude shown by a section of travelling Aces fans over the recent years (most notably 'the Mexicans') and have seen plenty of matches with fans of both sides stepping over the decency mark. Have had many a great chat with Aces fans both at Monmore and Kirky over the years so it certainly wasn't my intention to lumber all Aces fans bar one in the same category. Hope that makes things clearer.
  5. I thought it was discriminatory to generalise about any group or race of people. Was referring to one group of Cradley fans only last night. The rest had respect for each others teams.
  6. And he has zero chance of a power packed team. This season has proved no one will come. The best you can hope is the best bargain budget you can buy.
  7. Worrall is always good value at the Green. Howarth has a home average of 8.33. Now you have clarified you meant at Swindon then that's a fair assumption.
  8. no lol Aces fans love to stir and cause arguments. We had the same issue with a drunken group of Aces fans in the A fixture. Part of the usual when the Aces are in town. In saying that it was great to catch up with Youngy from Updates site. Always a pleasure chatting to sensible Aces fans of course.
  9. I hope they won't be doing another Wolves and Cradley double header. Some Cradley fans are so aggressive. Shouting for the opposition and threatening Wolves fans. Totally moronic behaviour.
  10. Howarth has a higher average so like for like really. Should be a win for the Robins 50-40
  11. So at least it was clear it was rider error. Much the same with Shuttleworth. Horror track LMFAO
  12. Answers what question? I accept private messages, maybe my inbox is full. Not sure why a 'new' poster needs to be sending me messages on how to use a forum. There are several multi aliases on here and trolls I have no interest on hearing from. If you have something to say you can say it here. Unless you have something to hide. Edit. Just checked my inbox was full.
  13. The rubbish stirring started with post 25, followed on by post 27. Ha ha
  14. No doubt will come back with more bore horror comments, quoting posts and links as tho it might prove something (or nothing as the case usually is). Nowt like being predictable and boring I guess.
  15. Very strange is what I'd describe some BV fans! Thankfully they are mostly in the minority tho.
  16. The bore of the 'horror' track continues. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz If only anyone believed it.
  17. Sorry tellboy mentioned rain offs. I agree the precedent set by a Dorset club opens this all up to question now. The difference before was that the BSPA agreed to that cancellation (bizarrely) but didn't this time. At least no travelling fans were inconvenienced in the precedent cancellation. Still a difference to me. However we know the fans aren't important! So what's the answer? Cancel any meeting when more than one rider is missing? We would hardly have half a dozen fixtures ridden if we did that! What happened with injuries was unfortunate.
  18. So long as the senior meeting gets run that's all that matters. It certainly won't be Wolves if Belle Vue riders can't make it in time.
  19. both would have created a farce by calling it off, particularly as one club held no fault. The only fair thing would have been to declare the 2nd meeting 0-75 to wolves and offer refund if the referee is able to but surely that's down to BSPA officials and not the referee. No way should the visiting team have to be penalised (by missing vital league points due to the cut off date). either way it's all a complete farce. No one team or fans can do anything about a rain off, so there is indeed difference between the 2.
  20. agreed. Fans and riders were in the stadium and had spent extra money for both matches. Huge difference to calling the match off in advance .
  21. But that was before a meeting took place, cancelled by the promotion citing 'damaging business' and not under the control of an official. Wednesday night was much different reasons and as the ref has no power to cancel the meeting with riders and paying customers in the building meaning circumstances were not the same. However I agree that the Poole cancellation set the precedent on cancelling meetings in advance.
  22. you can't cancel a meeting just because one team can't field a team. What a dangerous precedent to set and a ridiculous suggestion in the first place, It's still the top level league we have so accurately called.
  23. There isn't such a rule. By agreeing to any match it's expected that both teams field competitive line ups. The onus is on that club for not being able to honour that commitment. No rules were broken and the referee was not at fault for ensuring the meeting goes ahead. Kings Lynn totally at fault for not having stand by options.
