  1. Worrall will have a point to prove after being left out at Belle Vue so hopefully he is the best available option. But true, not an adequate replacement.
  2. He guested for Wolves at home 2 weeks ago and scored 4+1 from 5 rides. Much better than when he guested for Rye last time but hardly match changing. Robbo in reserve could be the difference and I can see him top scoring.
  3. One and only one person calls Monmore 'the horror track'. No one else ever does. So yes it's very easy to dismiss one persons opinion. I've read plenty of comments talking about why they don't like small tracks and commented on meetings they haven't enjoyed. Thankfully SKY's favourite track delivered and often. Not every meeting will be a classic. Could be worse, we could have another bore fest of a meeting from Poole like the last one, it's not likely to be difficult to top the last BT league match.
  4. It's not like anyone is listening to the usual suspect. I'm expecting to read post after post saying the same later. You just have to pity the sensible posters who have to read that repetitive nonsense.
  5. We get to see a highly rated rider that's why. I for one will be travelling to watch him.
  6. can't see the agreement lasting too long but great news for Leicester and the Premiership.
  7. I see the usual suspect is getting his one man argument about the Monmore track in early. The horror track that literally one person thinks is true. Anyway away from the usual guff that comes out of its mouth (sadly to be trolled over and over on this thread) let's hope for a great crowd and the usual high standard sensible people expect from a great race track. No doubt BT will love being at Monmore as much as SKY did.
  8. Depends if any of the Rye Wolves experts turn up. Otherwise 10-12 point victory.
  9. it's because he is a double world British champ. You can't fault him for that. Brits in general have very little to cheer about so plenty of reasons to thank him for. His stance on not riding here and GB are down to the authorities. When you have a double world champion you listen. I don't blame him even tho I wish he was riding here. He will get the 2nd biggest cheer next to Cook, without question.
  10. No surprise in the result and GB's performance. Steve Worrall was a total star, completely vindicated his inclusion. Harris battled hard but would have expected more. With Tai we would have got 3rd. How on earth has Craig Cook won 2 GP qualifiers this year? Completely outclassed. Hopefully the likes of the Woodhull boys, Bickley, Brennan and of course Lambert who is still only 19 - even the likes of JPB, Zack can become the next generation of GB stars. We need them riding in Europe not doubling or tripling up in the UK. Congratulations Poland, it was never in doubt.
  11. I'm not sure however those days of signing a talented foreign youngster on a grossly false average I would imagine are over. Milik being a prime example as one of the last false assessed newcomers to the sport.
  12. Just making sure no one gets carried away! I'd say there is as much chance of Hans Nielsen making a comeback as there is of the Ruskie coming to England!
  13. More likely 7, precedent set with Pawlicki.
  14. On a 7 average tho. Precedent already set with Pawlicki at Wolves. Well worth a punt to any team if he is really interested which I'd doubt very much sadly.
  15. Delighted for Russia, and what a star Gleb is. Always great watching the Aussies fail - at cheating and qualifying.
  16. Lakeside purchased him before they dropped down.
  17. His PL average from 2015 was 5.43. No idea if that would need to be regraded as he failed to get a work permit for 2016 I believe? So if if was a 6 or most likely 7 then it might be 5.8 (7.00), 4.8 (6.00) or 4.23 (5.43) for top flight conversion.
  18. Cradley got owned. Cradley fans better hope they ride Perry Barr better next Wednesday!
  19. Any room that doesn't include you and the other trolls seems fine to me.
  20. Please take my name off that list, I have no interest responding to that personal abuser.
  21. Wells came in on his current championship average, like all championship riders did. Now they have dropped the 1.4 conversion and dropped the 50 point team building limit to 42 they have also altered the conversion rate for riders from the championship joining a top flight club.
  22. It's an argument that those who have an axe to grind with Tai use every time. Woffy will still get a huge roar every time his name is mentioned. He may well have lost some support with his stance but that won't be affected in Cardiff. Cook is currently on a crest of a wave with his form right now so I fully expect the crowd will give him as big if not a bigger cheer. He will have earned that right. Woffy is already one of our most successful British riders of all time, so he has nothing to prove and will get huge support as always. Obviously proof will be evident on the day!
