  1. As many times are Garrity, to keep it in consideration.
  2. Calling someone a bully whilst referring to them as scum. Great moral high ground. Case proven.
  3. I agree on paper we look one of the stronger sides. A Wolves and Aces final again seems good to me! 2 of my favourite sides.
  4. Yes it is, you would be perfectly qualified to know.
  5. The Aces are turning into the team to beat. Well done for putting the team first before loyalty. It proves despite the uncertainty around this season they mean business.
  6. You want facts ?? Fact 1. Sandhu bought the stadium. Fact 2. Sandhu planned to sell the land Fact 3. Sandhu sold to Brandon Estates for a paltry few million. Fact 4. Brandon Estates don't won't speedway. Fact 5. Horton and Sandhu get into ego bumping in the winter resulting in the stadium strip and refusal to sign a new lease. Fact 6. Sandhu says he will pay to put things right to get the stadium ready for use at a rumoured 3/4 million. Fact 7. Brandon Estates refuse anyone to enter the stadium. Fact 8. Horton announces a side and an intent to race at Leicester before returning back to Brandon. Fact 9. Sandhu said he would help the club find new Land to rebuild the club at a different location (didn't you already have land and a stadium Sandhu??) Fact 10. Money promised for sponsorship never happened. Feel free to correct me if any of those FACTS are wrong. The only other FACTS are is that the BSPA shouldn't have given Coventry a chance to race in 2017 (which has been proven 100% correct) and that they were given false promises that the club failed to deliver on. Anything else isn't based on fact just assumption. Hope that helps.
  7. one has to wonder why a regular contributor to the forum suddenly stops posting especially with the lines "finally managed to wear him down" #3883 and "finally succeeded to stop him posting" #3892. Makes no difference to me if he was banned or posts every day. plenty have said it because of his absence. starman dishes out as much as anyone else so I don't buy this bullying tag you applied to it. It's pure nonsense. But we all know you like a stir so I'm sure you were happy with your work that day. good to see him back posting. Certainly brings a smile to my face.
  8. The Poole thread #3892. You liked the post.
  9. Don't worry yourself, I most certainly won't. But it's always good to expose lie.
  10. Facts aren't your strong point clearly. Look closer to home before looking at others first.
  11. It's an odd one because Shovlar was taking the moral high ground about Starman getting banned and aren't we all terrible people. Apparently he wasn't banned at all. Either way someone is telling porkies and they come from Poole. What are the chances?!
  12. Still a weak bottom 3, similar to Wolves. The bottom 2 have great potential tho. With all that said the most attractive looking 1-7 on paper.
  13. So it's the BSPA that messed up. At least we all know that now.
  14. I'm personally a fan of the Nige and Kelvin presentation team. I'd rather over excitement than dead pan vanilla presentation. What we have seen is that when none speedway people come into presenting the sport they simply haven't a clue and what's the presentation ridiculous. I'd rather a safe speedway knowledgeable pair of hands than anything else. Personally I think there was a lot of good reason for the shouty duo to get overexcited about last year!
  15. The meetings covered on SKY in 2016 were of an excellent quality as far as the racing goes.
  16. Wolves never bought Seb Ulamek but he is still a wolves asset.
  17. Milik and Madsen first rode for Poole and rode full seasons so they are assets. Poole have used their asset base as they are entitled to do so.
  18. Holder, KK, Lindback, Bjarne, Ward, Brady, Watt, Milik, THJ, Dennis Andersson. All assets used in past 5 years. Madsen only rode for Poole didn't he so must be an asset? Didn't Poole buy Janowski? Didn't Buczkowski and Gomolski become assets thru Frost?? Nothing wrong with using your own assets, Poole certainly have.
  19. I asked this very question at the talk in in November and is covered in my report of it on here. Basically CVS thinks it's not worth buying contracts of riders because of their availability and long term isn't worth it. Or something like that. Do I still have to pay to get in?
  20. But still missing my point not surprisingly. Doesn't matter how high the number is how many are realistically likely to come back out of that list? Take out the top guys because we are meant to be cutting costs right?? Lindback has zero interest in being here, ditto MJJ, ditto Walasek, kornielussen, Buczkowski, Thomsen, Swiderski, Alden, Stachyra, Bech. so realistically of those on the list who appear to WANT to ride here you can add about 14 who are a decent enough standard. I expanded the list for one point only. Doesn't matter how many are on it. It's who wants to ride here from it that's the important thing. And when you look at those left who are in the list there isn't a great deal of choice to select from. You think there will be enough riders for next season using only one league. Fair enough and you could be right. I still believe there are not enough decent standard riders that want to come to fill those glaringly obvious heat leader/second string roles. I'm not getting into a silly debate with you as mine was only an opinion based on observations so I don't feel a need to be proved right. I'm just offering a caution to those who believe that one big league will be simple, easy to sort and the way forward.
  21. I've no idea why you are still going on about a mindless argument for. You asked me to provide information and I have. You have however ignored my genuine question on at least 2 occasions as if we have such an abundance of riders to fill team spots as you suggest why then are we still using double uppers????
  22. Having reviewed the list thoroughly there are 54 riders who rode last year who appear not to be starting anywhere in the UK. Retired - Lanham, Stead, Skidmore, Fisher, Gjedde(?) PK (from UK). Wanting to ride but no team spots - Kenny Bjerre, Sarjeant and Nielsen Had team spots in 2016 but probably aren't really good enough - Stokes, Ritchings, Halsey, Olly Greenwood. The rest - Iversen, Jonsson, Zagar, Woffinden, Lindback, Bjarne P, Kylmakorpi, Ulamek, Bech, Korneilussen, Buczkowski, Thomsen, Wozniak, Kus, Walasek, Bach, Swiderski, Alden, Risager, Lyager, Woryna,Busk Jacobsen, Pjiper, Aarnio, Palovaraa, Wethers,Lykke,Mear, Mellgren, Simota, Hummel, Karger, Garcia, Bukhave, Castagna, Stachyra, Payne. Like I said way more than 24. 36 was a quick look I'd missed plenty off when I did some simple homework.
