  1. It's irrelevant if they are double uppers or not. It's not like Richie or Richard are without a team, they still have places in the championship. The point HM was trying to make that Brits should have any team place they want, whilst putting out of work Masters who has given good service to UK. You cannot say one team should drop riders to fit them in. That's ludicrous. Especially given the team who dropped Richie are allegedly employing an Aussie in his place! Only one club to blame for Richie being out of a top flight club. As for Richard, he has missed out on a top flight club to better riders. Only a change in the rules will ensure Brits are catered for. To expect a club to weaken and put out of work a rider who has done no wrong is completely the wrong thing.
  2. diluted I agree. However good racing is good speedway. Perfectly evidenced on SKY last year. We all know the crowds are down and the top tier diluted. There is no denying I watched some decent racing last year on SKY, at Wolves and throughout the various leagues too. I remember a time when racing was supposed to be better in a by gone age having dull and tedious meetings too.
  3. Would appear that Heathens season ticket holders aren't being considered, unless they allow you to pay the difference to watch both matches?
  4. And how can you argue that one team should drop 2 riders when the team who dumped the rider is using 2 Aussies instead (apparently)! You just can't make this defence up!!!
  5. Meanwhile what an excellent year of racing we had on SKY in 2016, as well as up and down the country.
  6. For pure comedy I like to read your threads on when you claimed you rode, before you had your ban for trolling. Always makes me smile. Belle Vue could retain Richie instead of Fricke, isn't that looking after Brits as well. Why wolves and not Leicester? (Nilsson), Poole? (Andersen), Somerset? (Tungate or Grajczonek), Swindon? (Morris). Of course you failed to mention that Belle Vue are probably retaining Fricke and bringing in Sedgmen (both Aussies), yet I don't see this being mentioned on their threads or threads of any other team. Plus it's not the first time you have mentioned it so I'm assuming you have an axe to grind with Wolves which shows up your argument for the nonsense that it is!
  7. Did you really just say Wolves will make the play offs?
  8. I see Leicester as dark horses! It's all opinions anyway.
  9. Certainly not needed the comedy channel for laughs tonight. The gift that keeps giving.
  10. It's not a racing ban. Oh dear you really do know more (or less).
  11. 9.80 with the 1.4 conversion. Assuming they keep it for any new riders coming back into the league. Would be grossly unfair if they didn't.
  12. It won't be the first time Col has got confused.
  13. One positive comment over umpteen slatings. Round of applause.
  14. And someone sold to them!! That's where the fault lies!
  15. It wasn't a ban. Being refused a visa isn't a ban. You don't know much do you Robert72. I don't claim to be 'in the know', unlike you. So the reality is I know as much as you.
  16. he wasn't 'banned'. He was unable to get his visa. It's Col not getting his facts right again.
  17. Eh? You are clearly the one claiming to 'know it all'. I only asked for an example as it appears you 'think you do'. Tells me nothing.
  18. I shared it here for discussion with regards it being potential talking points for the leagues to adopt. Have no issue of it being moved if some think it doesn't belong here.
  19. So therefore you don't know. As expected. A comparison would suffice. Say Watt compared to Lawson?? I'm assuming you don't know tho.
  20. The FIM has modified the starting regulations for both the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series and the Monster Energy SWC. Riders who move at the start will be given a warning by the referee and, in a change to the rules, will now be disqualified from a race if they are deemed to have rolled at the tapes at any time during the rest of the meeting. The disqualified rider will be replaced by a track reserve for the heat in question. http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/5520/plenty-in-reserve-for-the thoughts on this? Personally I think it's a good idea. Hopefully they will roll it out across all leagues as well.
  21. like who? British speedway really looked after Watt last year, not. Just what are the Aussie deals? Can you provide a contract comparison as back up?
