Unlike 2016 you mean?
-
But Auty is better so will easily top both averages, right?
-
Better season indeed.
-
His PL average hasn't gone backwards tho unlike Auty. If Howarth has gone backwards then Auty has virtually disappeared.
-
No I'm referring in part to the ridiculous British semi final farce. If you want your British and world champion to take part ensure you either A:make it easier for him to make the semi date or B:seed him to the final. It's not difficult. Either way I'm not getting into another discussion with you about our best British rider to give you more chance to continue your 'I hate Woffy' campaign. As it's a Coventry thread let's not get into any further debates as it's wasted air.
-
On the flip side Woffinden received no support from the BSPA either. If one is wrong then both are. Anyway, not wishing to open this can of worms again as the usual suspects will use it as yet another excuse to bash Woffy so let's leave it there.
-
If it suits his schedule he will. Ditto any of the big names who come here when it suits them for their own reasons.
-
I never mind YOU using information because you are a decent genuine person. However I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't mention it given how others have tried to use (false) information about me. Nothing personal you understand.
-
And you too Sidney. I work at Birmingham so it's less of a follow. I'm more of a Development league and amateur racing fan besides dabbling in a bit of amateur stuff as well. Do you really think I'm a fan of Cradley from those comments. Not sure what comments made elsewhere are relevant to this conversation tho. Interesting you use your stats to tell another story too.I'd say pressure is more on a team and rider doing much better than one struggling. So again those stats only tell one side as well. Facts tell us what the averages both start 2017 on. Howarth ahead in both leagues.
-
I'd agree regards Howarth until I looked at the stats. He had a decent year in the PL and was either superb or disappointing in equal measures for Wolves. If Auty was injured then he should have no problems improving again this season so time will tell. I'd rather Howarth than Auty in the top flight personally. Hopefully both will have good years!
-
typical trolling bring Tai up and saying how Wolves don't get as big a crowd as Peterborough. Expected trolling retort. As I said if you want to know who PK has invited why don't you ask him? I'm not on his testimonial committee team.
-
It will get a bigger crowd. Only a troll would suggest otherwise. Doesn't matter where it was hosted. Why don't you ask PK if he has invited him. It doesn't for him or anyone tho?
-
That's fair, likewise it's not fair to suggest a rider with a lower average is the better rider. Howarth has been a small improver most seasons, time will tell if that continues this season and if Auty has a better season also.
-
Stats aren't dressing anything up tho are they? If he is a better rider how come not only is his PL average lower but so is was his EL average in 2016. Stats prove Howarth had a better year than Auty. Not sure what riding at number one proves. Didn't Ulamek then Hougaard ride at number one for Leicester last year. That make them better riders who didn't ride number one? Flawed theory IMHO. You are right let's see how this season goes. Evidence suggests Howarth is improving and Auty is on the decline. As both are British I hope they both have a great year!
-
Don't think there is. If you are a Panthers or Cov fan you will probably go Peterborough. PK will still attract a bigger audience I reckon.
-
And last year's averages tell it all. Howarth ahead in the PL. 7.18 to 7.01. Howarth was in the team that finished runners up. Howarth ahead in the EL. 5.13 to 4.90. Howarth was in the team that won the league. Stats don't lie.
-
The year they won the league I believe as well. Glad my stats back up my theory anyway.
-
But all too predictable. Just waiting for the we are all anti Poole and get back to your own thread line.
-
no wonder Scunthorpe have had such a poor couple of seasons. Howarth ahead in the PL. 7.18 to 7.01. Howarth was in the team that finished runners up. Howarth ahead in the EL. 5.13 to 4.90. Howarth was in the team that won the league. How many did he miss in 2015? I agree Poles are a risk.
-
you rate Auty but not Howarth, surprisingly. Howarth is better in both leagues. yep, 5.51 X 1.4. Yet they used Wozniak for 2 seasons! Most Poles are a risk on any day race track given the dictatorship of their governing body. Just to add I was very impressed with him last season, particularly his efforts in Sweden. Could be a great signing for the lions.
-
Exactly. Most of the championship teams will have found the converted average too off putting. So all Brits were available for both leagues.
-
Plymouth dropped out, Berwick had a take over after plenty of uncertainty. Workington concerned about crowd levels. British Speedway has problems, not any 1 league.
-
Tai technically only missed one complete season which would be the same as Milik so i agree. But he still needs to be subjected to the 1.4 conversion so would be 7.94. 5.67 X 1.4 = 7.94

6th in the world in 2010.

Good news regards signings being announced. Nilsson should be a decent start.
