well documented that I consider Belle Vue my 2nd team due to having a few friends who are Aces fans get, going way back. now , what's your opinion on Somerset or any track being better than the NSS?? I've tried in the past to have a reasoned discussion with you but seeing as you asked (Shov) the question I'm likewise asking for your opinion.
-
Personally speaking I had seen no clarity on the ruling regards assessed averages. So I'm not surprised in all honesty. Neither the BSPA nor Swindon come out of this with much respect.
-
It's not okay for ANY team to try and get away with it. Now no team can, thank god. Common sense at last.
-
What is weird about it? If you care to argue why other tracks are better than the NSS then go ahead. It's likely to be a very lone opinion. There are plenty of great well prepared race tracks throughout the UK, Somerset ranking amongst the better ones. However it's hard to argue that any track is better than the one we have at Belle Vue. Feel free to put forward your opinions as to which ones and why. Enlighten us.
-
Every other track in the UK is inferior to the Belle Vue one.
-
It's accusing everyone who disagrees with it. You couldn't make it up.

Of that we will never know. However thank god they have seen sense because bringing foreigners in on a 4 or 5 whilst saddling some British riders with averages over 7 would be completely barking. I'm shocked any promoter would think they could get away with such a shocking blatant attempt at getting someone on a bargain average. Thank god the days of teams bringing in ringer reserves on plainly fake averages are over even though it seems it hasn't been well executed. You would think any person from Swindon who attended the AGM would ensure they get clear clarification on new assessed riders particularly given they were looking to bring one in. Somebody messed up that's for sure.
-
On paper so far Poole probably have the strongest, however I believe that Freddie and Jacob are the better value.
-
Sounds bad yes, but on the flip side what credible manager signs a rider without clear clarification on an assessed average and particularly right before an all important AGM? Surely the importance of assessed newcomers was covered at the AGM? ?
-
Don't make such a ridiculous comment Steve. Iversen has been one of the most outstanding EL performers of the past 5 seasons or so if not the top averaged rider overall. Stars fans can only hope that any signing they make can match the scoring prowess of Iversen. That level of scoring is virtually unmatchable.

Ah bless, the lodgers are awake. Up the Brummies

Same poster. Obvious from the off. That's another 2 pages or more set to be ruined.

Can you two take it to private, this is a Wolves thread.
-
Not in 2016 they weren't. Holder 8.95 and Lambert 7.08 is a stronger option than KK 7.91 and Hans 7.15. What they might do in 2017 however is open to speculation. Glad we cleared that up
-
Can wolves fans have their thread back please. Foreverblue you are wasting your time trying to reason with a troll.
-
Thanks.
-
Why have they still got 5 in brackets then?
-
I'm assuming 5 is the lowest level set for any rider not meeting that criteria as there is a few foreign riders under 5.
-
Masters won't be signing on a full for Wolves. CVS confirmed this last week.
-
It's no surprise that Kings Lynn are talking to Holder as the hints that he is still doing the top flight have been evident for a long time.
-
Quite a few predicted this so it doesn't appear a surprise. what is baffling is why Rosco signed a new Dane on an assessed average without knowing what that average would be. They only good thing to come out of this is that we appear to be dropping the ridiculously low 4 or 5 for assessed newcomers. Milik I believe was one of the last of those falsely assessed despite some Poole fans claiming he was a risk signing it was obvious to any sensible speedway fan that he would comfortably beat that. Now with the top flight strength at an all time low no foreign rider should come in on a bargain average. Hansen clearly has potential so if any team wants him give him a set average of 7 because you are signing a youngster for the future not to get a leg up with a ridiculous low average. BWD certainly is going places so it's not like Swindon haven't got a decent replacement. As a Somerset asset Swindon should have priority for fixture clashes.
-
BWD can't be an Eastbourne asset as NL clubs can't own assets .
-
Don't think anyone believes the multi poster anyway. If Holder rides here it isn't exactly a science to work out where he might end up.
-
The point I was making was that Poland have promotion and relegation that is mostly adhered too. I wasn't comparing the systems. I didn't say it was fool proof but on the whole it works and is enforced.
-
And this a wolves thread not a Poole one.
