Confirmed team averages drop to 42 to stop that happening. -
Yet again no clarity from the BSPA on what new foreign riders will come in on dependant on ability. All guess work!
-
No reason why they should come in on a 5.
-
We aren't just talking about bad meetings tho. It's his commitment that is often in question, hence why he has been sacked 3 times! We all know his commitment to Poole will ensure he maintains a decent performance level. That said if ever 2 words that don't go together it's consistent and KK. Proctor is just as big a risk as Adam to me. He has ridden a little in Australia. But he appears to be coming back so maybe just maybe he is under consideration.
-
Averages are a guide tho so it's good to compare them. On ability and who I think has the better chance of progressing further Rose - well ahead of the rest but close for the others. I'd put Clegg a smidgen ahead on his improvement this year alone. Then Sarjeant although I'm not sure he will make massive strides in the next year. Jacobs was a hot prospect 2 or 3 years ago, disappeared and then came back with slight improvement. Think his ability to progress much further than sarj, for example is limited. Would have put Jacobs clear 2nd a couple of seasons ago. Like you say, it's all opinions!
-
Jacobs had a better EL average due mainly to him being reserve all season and his inflated average from mostly good home form whilst Sarj spent time in the main body due to being in an awful team. At PL level Sarj was higher and with Sarj already signed up for the top flight I can't see any team other than Belle Vue signing him on 5.36. I'd say there wasn't much in it and wouldn't put Jacobs above him at all.

nobody mentioned Musielak and as MB stated I'd be very surprised. KK won't be inconsistent next season?? Really, why?? I suppose there is a first for everything. As for the Polish contracts of course we all know what the Poles expect of their own but as it's been pointed out its illegal to expect non Poles to return at will and will hopefully be quashed for any non Poles ASAP.

Masters nailed on at Wolves.

News from tonight's talk in. MASTERS AS GOOD AS CONFIRMED FOR 2017. It's not fully signed sealed and delivered yet but fully expect him to be part of next seasons side. The side was referred to as '2 riders short' with either a 6 and 2 or 4 and 3 likely for last 2 places. Sam is involved in all permutations for 2017 along with Max. Others stuff - Bomber - was spoken to and Wolves were keen to sign him however they never got to talk finances as he was announced by big spending Rye. Klindt - was asked to ride for his parent club but choose to sign for Poole. PA suggested that he hasn't been part of the club for a while due to his average and weren't going to pressurise him into it now. He also said that some quarters of Wolves fans criticising him relentless could have played a part in that decision. Skornicki - is part of some of the permutations for next season. His average confirmed as 7.22 Ricky - isn't in many of the options for 2017. Will have a new championship club to be announced in the morning. Kymlakorpi - he emailed CVS the night he was sacked and gave the club and fans a great review. He said he would have "no hesitation" in coming back to Wolves. Belle Vue -the problems started pre world cup, the council are fully supportive of keeping speedway. The stadium will be more 'people friendly' after feedback received when they re-open. Polish rules - Sweden and UK feel "betrayed" by this ruling. The ISLB are due to meet to discuss this claiming it to be illegal. The conditions set down for the riders are extreme as PA has read Jacob's Polish contract and it's expected he drop any other commitment if his team dictate and as an example He would be expected to go to Poland to attend a shop presentation or opening and cancel all other commitments - OUTRAGE! Promotion and relegation - all clubs supported this with a possible parachute payment for the club relegated. PA - aiming for 10 titles but will remain at Wolves as long as CVS wants him. Hopes to keep as many of the 2016 side as possible. Converted averages - discussion to cap averages at 12 had no support. Confirmed that team averages drop to 42 once riders have ridden 4 home and 4 away matches. Altered to stop teams dropping a reserve for a heat leader. Cradley - there fixtures have to be sorted as there won't be alternate Mondays anymore. More matches for Wolves means we need more Mondays . RIGHTLY SO, LET THE LODGERS GET WHAT THEY ARE GIVEN. World speedway league in Dubai - not happening. Ty Proctor - CVS hinted he will be back in the UK racing next season. Other anecdotes..... CVS thinks the Aussie riders are treaty 'disgracefully'by our government and immigration and with Brexit he hopes they get treated better. One of the reasons why he isn't pursuing buying Sam's contract. CVS recalls a story about when PK was initially refused his work permit from Sweden who stated 'he is not good enough to be a long term rider for this country' and was advised to sign Rosco instead. WHAT A DREADFUL THOUGHT!! Stevebrum over and out.

Patience. Notepad at the ready.

That's debatable. Some posters (and multiple aliases) take things way too far IMHO. I've been banned in the past for altering someone else's post and I accept that is against the rules (although it was only meant to be a bit of fun). Break the forum rules and you will likely get a ban. No one is to blame but the person themselves. And if people get a ban or several bans then so be it.
-
Wolves already have lodgers with Cradley, we don't need or want another one! Perry Barr are going to fortnight racing next season and again I hope their isn't a track share or they would be keen after the fractious relationship they had sharing last time. The only sense if it comes to that would be with Leicester. However hopefully it won't come to that so that the Bees can remain where they are.
-
Agree with that. However what doesn't make sense is that Sandhu is prepared, at his cost, to put in new fixtures and fittings if Horton signs and agrees. Either he has money to burn or has the ego the size of Warwickshire. And now he cares not a jot and is happy to see the fans without a track, What a guy.
-
Exactly. Sandhu is the one who made all the promises but is now trying to ensure the Bees don't run. What a hero. Can't say Horton will come out of this with much credit either. What seems clear is that each party is trying to blame each other and none have a care about the team, the club or the fans.

7.65 his PL average with Plymouth.

No new foreigner should be a 4. That would be ridiculous IMHO.
