  1. Morgan Andersson would be a better choice, he is the man behind the transformation of Västervik's track. Ok I didnt know. Obviously an advantage for Sweden with whit.
  2. Imo the draw will be decisive if the track will be prepared in the same way. Whoever gets yellow will likely suffer due to lots of outside gates in the beginning. That said, I predict that Sweden or Poland will get yellow and Australia white.
  3. Australia 8p ahead already . Can't see any of the others getting much closer.
  4. Well Nicki preferred to go on vacation rather than represent his country in the semi final. If a rider cant be bothered wwith the semi then he might jjust as well be left outside for the race off / final. I think PK still isn't fit from a crash a few weeks ago.
  5. That is correct but joker can only be used once and ts is also once per rider.
  6. Fricke have done more meetings though. https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/TeamSections.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Season=2016&Serie=Elitserien&PageType=Sections&pagesize=10&TeamId=523 https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/TeamSections.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Season=2016&Serie=Elitserien&PageType=Sections&pagesize=10&TeamId=519
  7. Ljung is the wild card. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2016/07/28/sgp-ljung-wildcard-malilla/
  8. Ok I hadn't seen that. I still would have picked Magic over KK. Don't change a winning team.
  9. Poland are the favourites on paper. Ljung rode very well but Västervik is his hometrack and I don't expect him to do this well in Manchester. I also think that Janowski will do better in the final since I think that NSS track suites him better then Vojens.
  10. The Swedish team have been announced: 1. Kenny Wennerstam 2. Joel Kling (K) 3. Alex Johansson 4. Joel Andersson 5. Filip Hjelmland http://www.vargarnaspeedway.se/lag-jvm/det-svenska-jvm-laget-klart-till-jvm-finalen-i-norrkoping/ http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Nyheter/LagVMfinaliSpeedwayforjuniorer/
  11. Once the draw is done and as soon as the line-ups have been announced, you will be able to find race cards here: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=72860
  12. This is what it looked like in Västervik three hours before the start of event 2. https://mobile.twitter.com/Morgan09269567/status/758224978177302528
  13. Wilmslow Road. "The Curry Mile is a nickname for the part of Wilmslow Road running through the centre of Rusholme in south Manchester, England". https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curry_Mile http://theculturetrip.com/europe/united-kingdom/england/articles/manchester-s-curry-mile-the-9-best-restaurants/
  14. I thought it was in 2012 but I remembered it wrong. Sweden was seeded to the final and not the race off.
  15. New Scienc, it is not really a new idea. It was used once or twice before it was changed to the final.
  16. The difference was that, apart from Fredrik's TT, Sweden didn't have a single 3rd or 4th place. When an Australian rider won a heat, a Swedish rider minimized the point loss by finishing 2nd. Australia lost lots of valuable points to USA and Germany. However the real "secret" behind the victory is team manager Morgan Andersson.
  17. It does not. It says: quote from http://www.fim-live.com/en/library/download/57330/no_cache/1/ (078.1.2 The Semi finals are not the same as race off.
  18. Results: 1. Jonsson 2. Lindbäck 3. Nilsson https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/IndividualDrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Arena,Organizer,FromDateShort&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=10&CompetitionId=7303&ShowAll=true
  19. They already are qualified for the semi (event 1) . The race off is not a semi final, event 1 and 2 are.
  20. You didn't dream, there is a new format this year. See the first post of the stickied thread.
