  1. I think Eurosport is a part of the SEC concept so it's unlikely that the rights for Britain could be sold to BT Sport.
  2. Vaculik confirms that he will ride for Torun next season; https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fsportowefakty.wp.pl%2Fzuzel%2F559574%2Fmartin-vaculik-potwierdzil-przenosiny-do-ks-torun&edit-text=
  3. Hallstavik will host the 2016 Swedish individual final. The date will be decided about once FIM and FIM-Europe have released their schedules for 2016. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2015/11/11/sm-hallstavik-far-arrangemanget-aven-2016/
  4. Dakota North have signed for Västervik. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2015/11/10/australiensare-klar-for-vastervik/
  5. Quite possible, but that doesn't mean that BSI doesn't have any influence.
  6. Surely discussions about SGP/SWC rights is more suitable in the GP-section?
  7. Just for your information, there are doubts regarding Swedish speedway's future on ESP.
  8. Aaron Summers have signed with Griparna. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2015/11/05/summers-klar-griparna/
  9. Possible Mikkel Michelsen or Kenni Larsen could be interesting as well. Mikkel was top 3 in the U21 ch and Kenni have had his best season ever despite injury problems.
  10. I have to disagree with that. in 2014 maybe but not this season or at least not outside Poland. In Sweden all of them (except Dudek) have a lower average then Jonsson. Kolodziej and Protasiewicz are past their prime anyway and they didn't do particular well during their previous SGP attempts.
  11. Mikkel Michelsen have signed another one year contract with Smederna. http://ikarossmederna.se/mikkel-michelsen-stannar-i-eskilstuna/
  12. An open letter from Daugavpils to the Polish speedway authorities: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fsportowefakty.wp.pl%2Fzuzel%2F557864%2Flokomotiv-wystosowal-list-otwarty-jest-rozczarowany-niesportowymi-zasadami-tworz&edit-text= It seems that ZG's financial problems will have to be dealt with before the start of December, the debt is in the range of 2M zlotys (~£330'000), https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fsportowefakty.wp.pl%2Fzuzel%2F557828%2Fzawodnicy-falubazu-poczekaja-do-grudnia&edit-text=
  13. I also would like to see that the permanent riders for 2016 (excluding reserves and single GP wild cards) will not be allowed to enter the qualifiers for the following season. So those who are not top 8 in 2016 will have to sit out the SGP for 2017 or rely on wild card. However I think in a not too distant future the SGP will drift more towards MotoGP/F1 and etc, type of championship with teams employing riders rather then riders qualifying via challanges or by being handed wild cards.
  14. He also finished 3rd in Målilla GP this season. http://speedwaygp.com/results/98
  15. Is that fair? A rider the goes through previous rounds undefeated doesn't get anything more from it then a rider who just manage to squeeze him/herself into the SF or Final? Possible give the winner/top three in each round a bonus point? I also would like the final round to be held over two or three rounds, just like the Ind. U21Ch. It would decrease the risk of track specialist getting an advantage, technical errors and just bad luck or etc.
  16. A pretty decent record but that also means that he have had to be given a wild card for almost every other GP-season.
  17. He is becoming the charity case heir to Nicholls/Harris/Lindgren.
  18. Oskar Fajfer have signed with Gnistorna. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2015/10/29/fajfer-ansluter-till-fnc-gnistorna/
  19. No Vaculik in Tarnow, they say that they cannot afford to sign a top rider, https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=sv&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fsportowefakty.wp.pl%2Fzuzel%2F556836%2Funia-tarnow-nie-ma-pieniedzy-na-zawodnika-z-gornej-polki https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=sv&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fsportowefakty.wp.pl%2Fzuzel%2F556801%2Fmartin-vaculik-odchodzi-z-unii-tarnow
  20. Rune Holta have signed with Dackarna. http://www.dagensvimmerby.se/sport/speedway/e/1588/norrman-tillbaka-i-dackarna/
  21. A picture says more then a thousand words so a video clip will likely say more then a hundred thousand words.
  22. Regarding the Sam Masters incident, we had a similar situation this summer in Sweden at an Allsvenskan meeting between Vargarna and Griparna where Rasmus Broberg rode tough against Alexander Edberg during a heat. When Rasmus then returned to the pit, Fredrik Edberg who is/was team manager for Griparna, hit Rasmus in the back and Ramus then hit Edberg in return. Both parties filed a complaint to Svemo who's disciplinary board announced their decision a few days ago. Rasmus Broberg received a two month suspension while Ebderg got five months starting at April 15th 2016 but he will have the suspension by 45 days due to the time he already have been suspended during the investigation. http://www.svemo.se/ImageVaultFiles/id_10180/cf_44/Diarienr_2015_05_06_08_Notis.PDF Personally I think it is extremely ridiculous that Rasmus Broberg gets a 2 month suspension for defending himself, while Greg, who sprinted several hundred meters and subsequently jumped Nicki only got 10 days since it was so much pity for Greg since he would loose so much money if the suspension would be longer. Then imagine how hard it has to be for a young rider like Rasmus who have a hard time getting any income at all from the speedway. Imo you cannot give Rasmus 2 months if you only gave Greg 10 days. You cannot have double standards in when it comes to disciplinary actions.
