  1. yeah only +9 ceslsius. not a very good meeting by Smederna, only Zorro and Thj did what you could ask. the rest needs to improve especially the gating, not much passing tonight but a good race in heat 7 between curly and Simon and in heat 15 with Zorro almost stealing the win on the line.
  2. methanol and smell-o-vision doesnt go well together since methanol is smellless. good to see Zorro helping out with the track works. I remember once when Jagoda requested to be allowed to take a tractor to do a few laps. He was a very happy when it was granted.
  3. i think bend 4 serves bratwurst, hamburgers and wieners but not regular hotdogs.
  4. alan yeag heard about N.Y. state and Pennsylvania on the radio news. apparently a state of ermergency have been declared? anyway still no more rain and it seems like the most of it missed the track
  5. seems like the rain took a tour around the track instead directly over it. First start estimated to c:a 19.15 swedish time. The postponed meeting will be held on wday nxt week. Without Thj and Timo Lahti. Can't understand why thj is allowed to ride in the uk when swe leagues have priority over foreign leagues.
  6. its gonna be wet. it have already rained some and i think more is on its way. But it doesn't rain at the moment I can also here the thunder rumbling.
  7. According to Lejonen themselves they have managed to solve the economic crisis. http://www.lejonen.se/Nyheter/Nyheter1/Lejonen-Speedways-ekonomi-ar-raddad/ though they still have to have their Debt restructuring plan approved by Svemo.
  8. weather update: warm and sunny with some scattered Cumulus clouds. No rain since yesterday.
  9. hmm i suddenly become a very fond Eastbourne supporte.r after all eagles are much cooler animals then bees anyway. Lets go eagles!
  10. apparently no new date could be agreed on. for Smederna juding by the UK fixtures THJ and/or Kenni are occupied most Wednedays and Thursdays. No fixtures in UK next Friday howevert its the Swedish U21 final that friday so it won't work either.
  11. i think say yes, it would be the standard procedure. Gutted for all of those who spent time and money to go there and all they get is a 2x2,5 hour bustrip.
  12. meeting off. forecasts for tomorrow looks better though.
  13. actually looks like its still raining. live score: http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/Speedway/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=6&CompetitionId=381

  16. ekuriren.se/sport/speedway/1.1176838--thj-missar-troligen-forsta-kvalfinalen thj is likely to miss the first final and its still uncertain about friday.
  17. as you could se if current leaders will win, Lejonen will finish 9th with Dackarna as nr 8 due to less good rider point quota, with Vetlanda and Hammarby to playoff.
  18. Thorsell is apparently not fit enough to ride and is replaced by Christian Agö,
  19. tonights live score link: Hammarby-Piraterna http://ta.svemo.se/P...mpetitionId=249 Dackarna-Elit Vetlanda http://ta.svemo.se/P...mpetitionId=250 Vargana-Lejonen http://ta.svemo.se/P...mpetitionId=251 Västervik-Valsarna http://ta.svemo.se/P...mpetitionId=252 or here: http://www.svemo.se/Grenar/Speedway/ or here: http://www.speedwaylive.se/
  20. i don't know, but rumours are that they are going to scarp the guestrider system. IMO this is a very very very stupid idea. Its one of the major factors behind this years success with Allsvenskan. also looks like i have to find myself a stream as well since C+ for some reason have decided NOT to have a web stream tonight.
  21. first post updated with the scores from the teams previous meetings. also i don't like how Lejonen "always" seems to register one team and then turn up with a completely different one. regarding the weather, it should be ok on all tracks, plenty of rain yesterday and during the night but, its has been a quite sunny day on most of the tracks today so it should not be a problem. There is a weather system lurking outside Gothenburg/the west coast but it should not interfere with tonight's meetings. Allsvenskan on the other hand....
  22. just something to get you to start speculate, Jansusz Kolodziej have been spotted in Vetlanda today. Either he is replacing somebody or Vetlanda just brought him in as a backup in case any of Vetlandas riders couldn't ride tomorrow. (dont know if or how many of EV riders that rides in England). Then Sebastian Aldén says on his website that he is riding for Lejonen tomorrow, the question is just instead of who? http://www.aldenraci...en-imorgon.html apparently Holder is also coming.
