Jc1, in Sweden its customary to have a longer interval after heat 10 to allow the spectators to get some hotdogs/burgers/coffee/a sandwich etc and/or to go to the toilet, without them having to miss any of the action. I think the heat 10 pause is a good thing. Far from everyone have time to have a good meal between work/school and the speedway since it starts at 19.00. It will also give the riders a time for a short break and some tactics talk from the team manager,

nope reserves are only allowed to ride in 6 heats. 1-5 riders are allowed to ride in 7 heats; 4 scheduled heats+nomination+R/R+tactical substitute.

I think that is how it works in some sports that once you entered a (senior?) championship as a citizens of country X you are then not allowed to participate with another nationality. Regarding Holta, he used to ride on a Norwegian license in the GP but at the same time he rode for Poland i SWC.

i only saw some of the heats but i do remember Lindbäck going from 4tg to 1st by going around the field on the outside. Holder also went from 3rd to first in the final heat.

Both of tonights Allsvenskan meetings have been cancelled because of heavy rain.

Sweden will bring 7 riders to Vojens and the 5 riders will be picked after the practice. I'm pretty sure that Lindgren, Davidsson and Jonsson will ride Then Lindbäck, Zorro, THJ and Nermark will fight for the remaining two spots.

Ikaros Smederna will host an individual invitation meeting on Monday and the purpose of the meeting is to test/see talents from all over Europe. Some of the riders that will race: Andriej Kobrin, Ukraina. Szymon Wozniak, Polen. Emil Pulczynski, Polen. Marc Randrup, Danmark. Thomas Jörgensen, Danmark. Joe Haniens were supposed to have been there as well but due to a meeting in Britain he had to cancel his participation in Smedernas meeting.

I made a spreadsheet with the riders from Swe, GB and Australia's teams tonight to see there performances in the different leagues. Anyway i made a picture of it: http://img248.images...ev2averages.png For some riders averages for the highest leagues was not available some for them i had to either find averages from earlier years or a lower league. * = a converted average from the Polish 1-liga ** = The GB average is from 2008 or 2009 *** = The Swe average is from 2008 Darcy ward's Swedish averge is his average from this years B.EL. The averages is calculated by taking points divided by meetings. The team average is the riders scores divided by amount of riders.
