QUOTE ( [url=" http://speedwaygp.com/en/swc/a76 ") To create a national team identification and feeling, all members of a team, including the riders, must use and incorporate their national colours into uniforms, racing suits, etc if you ask me it says that they have to have both the flag on the chest and national colours inspired kevlars. -

well the question is how Team DK will perform when not at the hometrack? I think Hans and Bjerre will do very good at Leszno but what about the rest? Klindt, Hougaard and Iversen? They have to deliver too if Denmark want to make it to the final. btw how are you Micke after what happened with Smederna? -

Doctors have decided that Nicki have to undergo surgery to transplant fresh skin from the uninjured thigh to his injured leg. Doctors recommend Nicki not to ride because of the risk for infections but Team Denmark's team manager says that Nicki still might ride if Denmark manages to go through to the final. The surgery will be at the end of this months and Nicki wont ride in the Latvian GP. Nicki will need some 3 weeks of rest after the surgery before he can ride again. http://www.dn.se/sport/pedersen-maste-oper...skador-1.911164 http://speedwaygp.com/en/newsdetail/a474?S...6f6c3acc14652c1 -

did you notice that Emil wore his own race suite during semi final 1? The SGP rules however says that QUOTE ( http://speedwaygp.com/en/swc/a76 ) Team colours It is compulsory for all the members of the different national teams to wear their team colour uniform in the pits’ and on the track during practice and race day. To create a national team identification and feeling, all members of a team, including the riders, must use and incorporate their national colours into uniforms, racing suits, etc. so why did FIM allow Emil to have his private race suite? -
f-s-p, i noticed that three of team Bikab's boys rode for two Finnish teams how come?

well i have said before in this thread that it is not King that is the weak link but rather Kennett/tai/Bridger. King and Kennett proves i'm right. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...t&p=1546031 http://subedei.proboards.com/index.cgi?boa...3673&page=2 -

IMO King is not the weak link in your team, Kennett and Bridger (possible even Tai) are. The only two riders in your team that have been quite successful on tracks of proper length, against good opposition is Harris and King. -

Daniel King have reached an agreement with Vargarna for a contract which is for this and next season. Dackarna is interested in lending Martin Vaculik for the rest of this season.

For others interesting in a trip to Sweden the last week in August is a good week. Elitserien, Tuesday, Div1 Wednesday Allsvenskan (Quarter final 1 race 2) Thursday and Robin's Race on Saturday. No news on Vaculik, Mikael Max seems to move to Lejonen.

i think the Polish team will win in P'boro. because they are the best team and with the Russian winning yesterday the race off is going to be super tough. even if the Polish team are the best and having home track advantage, anything can happen in a race off and there is always a risk that they will miss the final. -

Rules For World Cup ?
Ghostwalker replied to tony159's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
QUOTE (Robbie B @ Jul 10 2009, 03:30 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Totally agree with you Ghostwalker about the Joker, they should scrap it. Has Smederna folded, I heard that they had money problems. We Wimbledon supporters have a great love for Smederna, it would be a crying shame to see them disappear from Swedish speedway scene. Come on you Brits sadly yes BUT WE WILL BE BACK. -
nope there are probably a couple of teams that are interested. Rospiggarna was interested but now thinks his salary demands are too high. other Swedish news is that young talent ANton Rosén has withdrawn from the JEM (Euro U19?) final this weekend due to a crash earlier this week.
