  1. the tv meeting was such a borefest lat weeks tv meeting between Indianerna and Västervik was a 100 times better. The Pirates lost again, this time against Vargarna. Jagus was taken to hospital with a suspected concussion and a broken wrist. The likeliness that the Pirates will manage to qualify for playoff is now very very small I hope that Anders can fill us in on Vetlanda-Lejonen.
  2. imo nothing wrong with the format, its the most fair system we could have. The only thingt that needs to be changed is the track preparations. Possible also some tracks' status as a GP track could be questioned.
  3. i think thats is a bit small. Especially with the risks of the sport and expenses the riders have to ride in the gp. IMO all riders should get paid by BSI/IMG because the riders brings in money to BSI but doesnt seem to share it with the riders. It doesnt have to be allot of money but atleast a few thousand Pounds per GP. i am not sure but i think the Swedish riders gets their travel expenses covered by the Swedish Motorcycle Sports Federartion.
  4. a Decision has been taken to lock Elitserien from the 2011 season. This means that no team longer will be moved up or down between Allsvenskan and Elitserien. This should mean that if there are 10 team in Elitserien next year all Allsvenskan teams wont have any thing to ride for. They can sign riders to win Allsvenskan but for what reason? IMO this is not what Swedish speedway needs. Allsvenskan now becomes more or less useless as i think that most teams in Allsvenskan aims for Elitserien. What will happen with them? Another problem will be if 6 teams already have qualified for the playoff with 3-4 rounds to go and with no team facing the risk of being demoted the final league meetings will loose all importance and there will no longer be any drama regarding the last place. I also wonder what will happened with the team that will be demoted in 2010 they no longer will have a chance to get back quickly. IMO it feels like they just testing stuff without having much thought about it. http://www.nt.se/sport/artikel.aspx?articleid=5433596

  20. the latest news regarding Zengota is that he has an aching body, a deep cut in one of his hands which had to be sutured together but the initial reports of a possible collarbone injury was wrong and Zengota does not have any broken bones.
  21. hey wait a minute doesnt several parts of this article sound very much like the text i posted above?
  22. Andreas himself now comments his crash: http://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/moto...ticle5577212.ab he says:
  23. latest news is that AJ have left the hospital and is on his way home to Hallstavik.

Anton Rosen (0,0) 0 7. Eric Andersson (2,1,0,0,1) 4 8. Pontus Aspgren - A really great meeting. Initially it looked like Indianerna would pull away but Västervik managed to turn it around and Chris Harris was the man behind the Victory. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rospiggarna - Elit Vetlanda Rospiggarna 48 1. Robin Aspegren - A great effort from Rospiggarna to manage a 48-48 tie at home against Elit Vetlanda. Hampel and Richardson under performed 6 and 7 points respectively from them wont work if Vetlanda want to win gold. In The end i think Vetlanda lost on a management mistake since team manager Fredrik Staaf chosed Patric Hougaard for ht 15 instead of Pavlic or Jonasson. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Dackarna-Vargarna Dackarna 46 1. Tai Woffinden (1,X/2min,2',3,EF,0) 6+1 8 .Jonas Andersson - As reported earlier a massive 4 rider incident in heat 1. Andreas Jonsson and Daniel King both withdrew after the crash. Both have been taken to Hospital, AJ with back pains (although nothing seems to be broken) and Daniel King with suspected broken rib(s). In the restart Grzegorz Zengota fell on his own and somehow got the bike over him. Zengota withdrew from the meeting following this crash with a shoulder injury possibly a broken collarbone. All three injured riders are able to move/feel all legs/feets/toes/arms/fingers etc.. and all three are awake and fully conscious. With Vargarna's victory playoff seems even further away for Piraterna. They are now 6points from a playoff meeting. Piraterna will meet Vetlanda tomorrow and if Piraterna loose or only manages a tie it will be very difficult for them to reach playoffs. Current standings: Elit Vetlanda, Vetlanda 9 5 3 1 476-388 15 Dackarna, Målilla 10 5 2 3 474-462 14 Västervik, Västervik 9 5 2 2 450-413 13 Indianerna, Kumla 11 6 0 5 545-510 13 Vargarna, Norrköping 9 5 1 3 425-438 13 Lejonen, Gislaved 10 4 1 5 461-475 11 Piraterna, Motala 9 2 0 7 418-445 5 Rospiggarna, Hallstavik 11 2 1 8 469-587 5
