  1. What about it? Too many oppressive people on this thread ... it should be closed down!
  2. Summers was well in front, until his abacus failed.
  3. Not there tonight, but going by the Updates looks like Kurtz has given Cook food for thought prior to the PLRC. I'm sure he'll respond appropriately on the night and we might see some cracking duels between the two.
  4. C'mon Young One! At least two posters have raised the issue of Ian's comments. Totally unprofessional and well below the belt.
  5. I can get what you mean, but I'd say deep down in him it's the total opposite.Take his post heat win celebrations at Cardiff. Other GP riders don't celebrate like that after a heat win. That said to me he rates himself below the others and it was a big win for him.
  6. The only people that can answer that question are the Glasgow promotion. But I know what you mean.I would have him in a flash. What I would point out to those Edinburgh supporters who understandably jump to the support of one of their own is see beyond the detail of each negative post. For me he is a great rider to watch, on his day untouchable in the PL, but what I and many others (I suspect) are saying is, we like our top, top riders to show the same class off the track as on it. I'd like to see him being a top EL rider (that way we wouldn't t need to face him 6 times a season ). I'd like to see him being a top GP rider. And as he appears to have missed that boat, you do feel disappointed for him. It's then you look for reasons, and whether relevant to on track success or not he doesn't seem to carry himself the way top GP riders do. What would be water off a duck's back to them, seems to be too high a priority to him. Quite simply, he doesn't know how to play the game.
  7. Not trying to be a smart arse here TheScotman, but he did praise it earlier this year on Twitter. Still on there.Have to question why he appears to post on Twitter about this particular track though? Ah come on Dekker, I didn't comment on his post content.
  8. Cook now making sarcastic remarks about the Berwick track and attendances. Mind you in fairness to Cook, Ian Rae does have a right good go at him.
  9. What amuses me about Facebook and Twitter is those people like Cook, Linekar, Ferdinand, etc who make posts and actually think their opinion matters. Do they think the rest of the World gives a flying whotsit, what they think? Full of their own self importance, but in reality ... Nobodies, deluded.
  10. Exciting to watch. And might be on a few club's shopping list next year.
  11. Speedway would never be financially viable there. People in Lochgelly don't pay for anything.
  12. Exactly. In addition to the accident you mention there was also a fatal one on the M9 which may have impacted, I don't know.Lawson doesn't exactly have a reputation for being late to meetings. How many's he done this year and no late shows? I doubt many riders turn up late due to their actions, they're impacting on their own pay packets after all and letting down fans and fellow professionals. Broad sweeping brush treatment is totally unjust.
  13. As you admit you don't know the facts then how can anyone else take you serious?More to the point ... Who cares? You're just trying to point score and it won't work on here, where there's enough experience to smell it a mile off.
  14. Before judging do you know the facts? If so please enlighten the rest of us.
  15. Look after your car mister? Bugger off. My Alsatian is in the car! Can he put out fires mister?
  16. There's an opportunity to walk the talk. The stage is yours ....
  17. No comment on the initial "insult" that provoked this one?
