From experience I'd suggest pension funds and investment companies have no say. Those decisions are left to those who are paid to do it in the "sponsor" company - mindful of doing what's best for the business.
No of course sponsors don't matter.
Multi-national companies employ eejits who just pump money into sponsorship deals with no accountability to shareholders.
Watch what you wish for.
Based on the amount of negativity posted on BSF about speedway and how it's not as good as it used to be.....

Why all the impatience about the SKY deal?
By all accounts there is one.
OK we don't know the finer details, but so what.
Speedway will be on telly this year and surely that's ultimately what matters.

One key factor the anti-SKY league have missed is the country is in the worst recession it's ever experienced.
Forgive my naivity, but I'm sure that must have had an effect on crowds.
