  1. A group called “Speedway Friends” on Facebook.
  2. Another one from Carl Johnson and quite possibly the worst comment yet: “It’s simple, instead of slagging clubs off get down and help them survive….but I forgot your £22 a week runs a club. I’m sure you have put all your efforts into helping your local tracks survive over the years.” What a way to speak to your paying supporters. Basically saying even our £22 isn’t good enough! What are these clowns on?
  3. Here’s another one from the Peterborough promotion team with yet more “I am great and you are bad” attitude. Carl Johnson: “It makes me sick to the back teeth with so called supporters of speedway, especially so called Peterborough supporters. I’ve been involved in this club pretty much all my life and never taken anything out of this club, I’ve put in hundreds of thousands of hours to be involved in this club and the work that everyone does behind the scenes by proper Peterborough supporters is amazing and without them we wouldn’t have a club now. We as a promotion appreciate everyone that turns up week in and week out to watch and pay with their hard earned money and again without them we wouldn’t have a club. Don’t you think we are trying to save the future of the club ? We have already said we have identified 2 potential plots of land to move too in the future. Dale work his arse off to get speedway at the Showground this season so loyal supporters could at least have a final season. Everyone knows the situation at the Showground and we are not big enough to stop a £50 million development from going ahead, things are very sensitive with the Showground contract and who knows what happens after October this year. Michael Tomalin is a main sponsor but not a promoter of the club and the decision on colour change wasn’t down to his investment as we have stated in the past if you have cared to listen and to the reasons why this happened. We cannot help the reasoning into why Nikki left the club when he did, and we as a management team are trying, and have been trying to secure a rider for that position but if the riders don’t want to come to the uk then please tell me with all your so called knowledge what we do ? You bash the club but I never see you at the track helping to keep this great club alive, you pay your money on the gate but want your say in what happens to the club, if your all so vocal why not get yourselves together and form a committee dedicated to saving Peterborough speedway rather than bashing it ? Why do you want everyone else to do the hard yards for someone else to criticise that decision…I’m sure you all think we sit here and don’t worry about the situation we are in, do we want the club to close ? NO do we want to be in the position we are in the league ? NO can we help it at the present moment ? Not really….City Auction Group ( Michael Tomalin) and Crendon timber ( John Clarke) have funded this club for a few seasons now and never questioned anything, they have supportive in every way and understand the current situation. If you so called Peterborough fans don’t like it then do something about it, don’t just say we pay our money so we are entitled to have our say put some effort in to helping save the club or at least help when we need it…your not there putting up air fences or taking them down or in the winter replacing fence panels or painting , your not there sweeping the pits or cleaning the stands, your not there with your hand in the toilet cleaning it. No your sat at home on your keyboard waiting to bash someone or something else. If you want this club to survive quit moaning and bashing it and support it like you claim you do. I expect to see all you club bashers on Monday evening.” Sadly there are many delusional sheep rushing to the defence of the shocking attitude of the Peterborough promotion team. It all reinforces the point, “put up or shut up”. Expect no changes and a season without a single league point folks because in their eyes they are GREAT!
  4. Another one for you: ”if we relied on a handful of comments and not the long term supporters and team that work every week to make a considerable difference I would, the riders and management are working hard to make a difference be sure of that”
  5. The words of Tomalin who just replied to my comment on Facebook: “I’m here watching your comments. We go again my friend and support our team” So basically in the promoter’s words we put up with it then. Clown.
  6. Nobody even cares. Where is the promotion? Going out with absolutely no fight at all. Wolves are doing everything they can and we have absolutely FA going for us. How people are still parting with their hard earned cash for this shower of s*** is beyond me. Give the fans something at the very LEAST. Pathetic. #WhereIsTomalin?
  7. If you lot think this is bad, try joining the 'Panthers speedway chat' on Facebook.. I'm getting shot down left right and centre for being disappointed with the season. They all seem to think everything is all rosey and fine
  8. 'Significant' announcment = Max Perry? Who writes these things
  9. Speedway Updates are reporting that Leicester's 'significant announcement' is Max Perry has signed as an asset.
  10. Have they just had their news spoiled or is it something else, as they stated the 'supporters in the stadium will get to hear the news first.'?
  11. Official British Speedway have just confirmed on socials that the Premiership Pairs will take place as a one-off event at Leicester on Thursday 29th June at 7:30pm. The press release for tomorrow's meeting states the fans will be the first to find out so either they've had that spoiled or it's something else.
  12. Another day goes on with no news of signing anybody... almost at the point of giving up now. It's going to be too late.
  13. I've already made the collective decision that until a competitive team is built, I will be travelling the extra miles to Foxhall to watch Doyle and Emil.
  14. Shut the whole thing down now. Absolute shambles. Richie Worrall needs to be held accountable for his actions also.
  15. It’s all a very sad and sorry state of affairs at this point.
  16. British Speedway has been dying a slow and painful death for years but maybe this year is the final nail in the coffin. in the past decade we have lost massive clubs such as Coventry, Swindon, Arena Essex and now Peterborough and Wolves this year. I predict one big league next year and then fading out with a whimper.
  17. The engine problems probably lost Panthers the meeting tonight, but without a No.1 (only 4 from RR rides), that's not a bad result so fair play to the lads.
  18. Well KK only went and bagged a 15 point max lmao. what a frustrating rider.
  19. I suspect this won't be the first time that Ipswich are caught with their heads down due to their weak bottom end. As soon as one of the top 2 get beat it's a massive result.
  20. Typical KK, shows up only when he wants to, and only on his terms.
  21. From MT on Facebook: “Just as an update from my perspective and my perspective alone the NP debacle has been an issue, something none of us expected however we will react given time to measure the next step. In regard to the overall position with the Speedway I’m keen to understand the options. Let’s just support our team who we all love dearly and let the rest go through the process. As I have stated it ain’t over until the fat lady sings”
  22. This is a good point. There is a social media channel on Facebook for Panthers chat and he was previously very vocal until the start of the season. He has gone very quiet since.
