Your comment makes no sense. The reason you're not a Premier League footballer is because you don't have the skills to be one, no offence. The situation here is that professional riders who have exceeded the standard required are being prohibited from riding, and being paid for doing so. Whether riders at this level should be professional or not is a discussion for another time. It remains to be seen how this will pan out.

Will there be enough riders of sufficient quality to fill the 6 teams? An older more experienced pair of hands who has achieved an average of 4 or over in the championship would be beneficial to the less experienced riders, would they not? Sings has already identified 10 riders from this years teams who are no longer allowed to ride. I'm no legal expert but could prohibiting any rider who has achieved a 4 point championship average be a restraint of trade? As always, there are more questions than answers.

It's only an extra 4 miles each way for you, based on your location, to go to Iwade compared to going to Arlington. The Royals need all the support they can get, and they run on a Sunday lunchtime. -
I'd agree with that. In his first exclusion he fell trying to go around Nathan Ablitt and in the second one he lined up Tom Woolley, in much the same way that Connor Bailey did to Dan Thompson on the under 21 final, but on this occasion he appeared to catch Tom's leg on his way through causing Tom to fall. He was always on the pace other than heat 13 where he was outgated and couldn't get past Ben Morley despite trying for all four laps.

There's a 35 page thread in the Speedway GP and Speedway World Cup Forum. Lots of discussion about Team GB's performance in there. -

I enjoyed my first visit to Foxhall for around 40 years! I'm currently on holiday on the Broads and decided to visit Ipswich rather than Kings Lynn as the match looked more attractive for a neutral. I had no trouble getting there, nor parking. Getting in was a little slow but no complaints there. The stadium itself is pretty impressive, with the big grandstands on the back straight, and having bought some food me and my son found a seat in the grandstand. The view was really good, although my own preference is to be a bit closer to the action. The racing wasn't bad at all, although as mentioned on the updates Wolves did seem to get some flyers. As expected, when the Witches have Jason and Emil as their top two heats 13 and 15 will always favour them. A couple of things I noticed, the music wasn't very modern, although I didn't mind that, and there also seemed to be a lot of children around where we were sitting. Hopefully the latter is a good sign for Ipswich. The meeting was done and dusted in just over 90 minutes, from tapes up to the end of heat 15, including the interval so well done to all for that. I had no trouble getting out afterwards and but for the A140 being closed would have been back in Wroxham by 10.45. Taking everything into consideration, that was an enjoyable evening. -

I was on the back straight in line with the finish and I thought that Pearson had just pipped Morley. But at the end of the day it didn't really matter as Kent rammed home 4 5-1's in the last 4 heats. I'd agree with @Sings4Speedwaythat Pearson looked good as a first time visitor but there must be some reason why he's not able to produce that form in the Championship. -

It was run under a Nora92 Motorsport Permit issued to Sittingbourne Speedway, as stated in the programme. It was a mixture of uprights, laydowns, 125/150cc youth and 250cc youth. and mainly amateur and unattached riders. The only rider I am aware of who is currently riding in a team was Rhys Naylor. It was the first meeting of this type that I've attended. -

That's next Sunday! This time last season Kent had ridden one home league match and two away, there were two home league matches in July, August and September. So far this season they've ridden one at home and three away. They have one home meeting next week, two in July, two in August and one in September. There are only 8 teams in the NDL so meeting are spread out throughout the season. There was an amateur meeting today, and last week would have been the second NORA meeting but that was cancelled.
