I for one am happy to see Poole ride on in 2022. With no team to support I have of my own I now since the track I supported closed down I now class myself as someone who supports the sports as whole. Speedway can ill afford anymore tracks to close. Ultimately regardless of Club rivalries they need to realise that for the sport to thrive again they need these Teams to survive and prosper.

So in theory if the same rider was used as a track reserve (I know this doesn’t happen) for each round they could potentially become World Champion.

As the title suggests this is a hypothetical question regarding the two track reserves. In the rules it states that the reserve will alternate should they need to replace riders that are injured up to a maximum of five rides apiece. Now in the unlikely scenario of one of the reserves becoming injured would the other reserve cover his rides but is still limited to five rides? Thanks in advance.

Still nothing. Even items celebrating victory are non existent. You would have thought with Xmas approaching they would have tried to cash in but I fear they have missed the moment.

Following on from the success of TeamGB in the Speedway of Nations I visited the TeamGB website in a view to purchasing some merchandise - http:// https://shop.gbspeedwayteam.com/ - I was surprised that most of the items were/are out of stock. On the Monday following the on track success I contacted them via email to see if they would be having any new stock in? To date I have had no response. I keep checking online to see if the shop has been updated but alas no. Surely following the on-track success the people involved in running TeamGB are missing a trick by not trying to cash in.

Is the contract with the WRU for racing at the Principality stadium also up?

We were due to stay at a Travelodge (Newport) in 2020 for two nights. As we went into Lockdown and all but essential travel was permitted Travelodge credited the value of the booking as an e-voucher. Moving on to booking in 2021, the price substantially increased and now our two nights was worth only one night. Now this year has been cancelled I have tried to move the date to later in the year but have found that you have to pay the full price instead of any difference as per usual. Unless we go to stay as planned (not much point really) we have lost the full cost of our stay.
