Pretty sure Ryan Douglas would have been more expensive than Dan.

We needed a good number one and number 5 , but neither position impressed this year and come heats 13 and 15 we were consistently poor. Got to change that as next years priority.

So one club is in middle of a huge city with a massive population and the other is a tourist town with 3 million visitors a year. Compare those to decimated towns like Redcar, Scunthorpe, Workington and the clubs do not have the wealthy backers, or the cash positive population. If I won the lottery, I would put money into my club and attract the best riders, as it is I'm envious of the top two teams success, but win or lose, I will still be standing on the freezing terraces watching my team.

Well that was dire to watch. Scorpions may have come bottom of the league, but we have some great racing week in week out.To have a track that is wide with so many racing lines, is a massive plus for passing and entertainment. I'm not saying I like seeing us bottom of the league, on the contrary, but I go to watch to see good racing and feel I've had value for money.

David is right. I don't know how much input he has on team building, or if Rob has final say. It was clear to everyone at the start of the season that the team was mediocre and would not be contenders. I have a lot of respect for Rob and what he does at the EWR ,but his major failing this year was being too loyal to last years team. He also took a massive gamble on bringing back Worrall after a year out and the Kennedy brothers (one obviously never ridden in UK ). Lambert sorry to see him struggle, but a year too far for him. Unfortunately Luke, the only one doubling up , has faded since joining Kings Lynn. Jake needs a better tuner since he has been fantastic on the bends, but constantly easily passed on the straights. Connor has been consistent but should have kicked on more. Gone are the days when several riders would offer their bikes to a struggling rider, its sad but no longer much team playing , just individuals looking after themselves.

I want 6 changes next year. Pay Douglas, or Pickering big money and give us a genuine number 1 for starters.

Jake injured, we will do well to save a point.

We have the same with Luke Harrison, young riders just learning their trade. They have good rides as a reserve and get bumped up into the main body of the team and struggle . It happens far to often and the newcomers need some sort of protection at this level.

I will be happy if we get a respectable tally of points after our recent away performances. An away win would be good , but I live in hope!
