Can the club sort out the P.A. system as it is awful ,especially the one facing the stand after the start finish. Can the announcer, the result announcer and the DJ also have some system between them so they are not playing music and trying to talk over one another. On a positive ,the scoreboard and count down are working well. Rant over.

Gino was a liability riding for us and his head was not always in the right place.

It is a general comment, that older bones are more prone to fracture and its a fact take longer to heal, but you see every comment as cannon fodder.

We all know Speedway riders are tough, but there comes a point after loads of falls, fractures etc, that the body is more prone to failing. Best wishes to Rory ,but age and quick healing are not on his side.

Back to the match, even without Rory's injury, Berwick were sadly lacking. Kerr was fine and Kemp did ok but, the remainder were dire. Gilkes is off form , Hume had a poor one and Starke spent too much time on his rear. For us another, very solid performance all around.

Could be close with Kerr, Kemp and Gilkes being track specialists and Rory been around long enough to know the track well.

RR is ok until someone gets injured, then it leaves the teams very exposed.

Redcar's new signing and the on form guest make them much stronger. Scorpions need to be on it and continue their form from the last meeting.

Carlos obviously had keyhole surgery with a significantly reduced recovery time. If Celina had open surgery, recovery time is so much longer, I can personally vouch for this.

Pity about the riders and fans who were 100's of miles enroute, before the late call off.

Really? I go every meeting and thought the crowd was poor. Perhaps some thought an 18 point deficit was not going to happen and saved their money not attending. For me, it was so enjoyable watching everyone perform, I bought the stream to watch it a day later.

Think you maybe right, a big deficit to recover. Also depends which Craig Cook turns up.

Our current away form and Redcar having Riss as a guest , in all probability Scorpions will get a stuffing.

Scorpions had never raced on the altered track before. They had a 31 point lead from the first leg. MPT even commented last week he would look after himself and not get too involved. Jake Allen was ill with tonsillitis and totally wiped out physically. Finally Scorpions raced at Redcar the night before, so had little chance to fettle their bikes and drive down to Plymouth ,some 385 miles away . However congrats to the Gladiators on your win and Ben's maximum.

How are the away fans supposed to know that, an announcement might have been good? I was already trying to avoid the muddy ruts and bushes getting out of the car park by then. Any chance it can be bladed and graded before my next visit?

Can we have, with some urgency on an improved P.A. system. Yesterday nobody was aware MPT had withdrawn and IRR was in place until his 3rd programmed ride. It is clear communication with Rob, announcer and DJ is sadly lacking and some people need extra training in the equipment. It is not all weather related, Rob's microphone has been suspect for long enough. It seems it does not help when he walks around and changes direction when speaking? Kevin Moore on centre field duties, was in my opinion ,very good at keeping everyone informed. Perhaps Rob should delegate some role and be helped out whilst doing track grading, watering, repairing tapes etc.
