I did post initially that Craig was prepared to be a GB reserve-but he was having none of that-He said I am either in or out Dad on Merit-dont say I want to be a reserve.I am not Simon Stead dad and I will watch if I am not included-I want to represent Gb against Poland in an international-imagine that-me racing for GB He has gone off to bed dreaming about this What have you guys done to him?? He wouldnt even come with me and his mother and younger sister on the peddle boats yesterday afternoon as he wanted to practise and had no interest in our holiday-So I had to bloody peddle instead of him.!! Almost surprised him to take the monitor away on the peddle boats-but felt that was a tad cruel and he can live his dream if he practises hard enough. PS -when he said he had to go for an hour he had to do his paper round but didnt tell you guys....ssshhhhh...you didnt hear it from me ok

Craig is up for it as a GB rider if thats any help and if he can work out how to set it up to work-or one of the lads can explain.

Seems to all be getting a tad serious now-a few days ago it was a laugh at each other and all getting on...... Now it would appear new rules are gradually appearing such as if you hit the grass you have to wait to re enter the track--They are all taking it very very seriously--and how do us newbies start? Conference league is the way to go-even the lad is getting aggressive

What have you got my lad into!!!-He has been posting in my name to get server details as he cant be bothered to remember his password! I have been computerless tonight thanks to you guys How does this server thing work in terms of seeting up a server? Can anyone do it at any time or is it restricted to certain people? The reason I ask this is it now appears to be Craigs mission to spend the rest of his holidays beating you guys -and he would like to be able to set up a race when some of you are at work that other people can join in with.

Didn't the house next door used to be home to the groundsman/caretaker of the circuit? Remember as a kid looking over the 4th bend and being almost able to touch the tomatoes he was growing.

Tell him to jump over the gate when no one is looking and obtain a few more bits of speedway momentos when no one is looking-ie fence panels lol-I know one is going to the speedway museum and one to the Royal Albert memorial museum in Exeter. I will try and get there this week with my camera if anyone is there who will let me in and see how the place is looking now and take a pic of the small garage next door. Still planning problems with regards to housing. Went past on Thursday-The floodlight pylons are still there but all actual floodlights have been removed-Interestingly they still have the green mesh fencing in place on the third turn.From the outside apart from the floodlights looks like nothing has changed. Will try and get in and take a few pictures to post.

If he is not sure about it Rob Doran is an Exeter specialist and lives local and has his own private museum and I am sure he would be happy to give advice about whatever it is has been found.If you need to get in contact with him gimme a shout.

i have loaded up the game but how do i race?

I have downloaded win ace and the game-but how do I open it? keep getting a list of files within the game. So instructions in billy basic terms would be greatly appreciated.

I would normally have been so kind to point out when The Devon County Show is at this point-but seeing as Westpoint rejected our speedway plans for a new track at the show site I cant be ar*ed -and it aint the week you are coming. Dont want you having a blonde moment so a word of advice...Just try and remember Exeter dont race on a Monday anymore-would hate you to be alone at the CG surrounded by builders asking what time the racing starts. Gonna have to set up blockades at every entrance to Devon me thinks.

Only thing I would have any power of organising would be to say "Steve Hone-You fancy coming down to the track in August or Oct 31st? and bring your bird with you" Well? To me August bank holiday would be the ideal time-make a full day of it -from the men in black etc through all the years and a massive meeting in the evening with Sky there-End of an Era meeting type thing.Too many riders abroad I guess over the weekend-but that would be mine and many Exeter fans ideal scenario. Guess I can dream.

Seems from Backtrack he also wants to have a last 4 laps around the County Ground when we close. Now THAT will bring a lump to the throat if its possible-and I know Rob Doran has his famous chequared leathers and if he could squeeze into them-well---What a way to end the era of Exeter Speedway at The County Ground.Nothing could be more fitting unless Scott Autrey turns up as well for a match race. Really hope the powers that be are working on such an occasion for Oct 31st
