lol <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am really trying to work out how to start a safe server. I have gone to my browser and have copied what you told me to type in (http://192.168.1.1) and then pressed enter. it wont find it. does anyone know why this is? im sooo desperate to setup one so i can race when others want to race. 2. how do i find on google to login for my router???? (If you dont get what i mean, then read the quote. lol) Me and my dad dont understand what ports are and the 6654 and 6655 stuff??? Is there any point in helping me or shall i give up as me and my dad are not computer wizz's. If someone is able to very kindly tell me one step at a time in the simplest form, that would be great. What is the hamichi for?? is that a diffrent safe way or doing this or something??? cheers, Craig (C.J)

I would just like to know whether anyone is going to be riding now and tonight. My mum and sister are going out and i said that i may stay at home if there WILL be people playing the game. If not i wil go out as i know that many of you may want to watch the g.p tonight instead of playing the game. cheers Craig

please can someone start a server as pc's has now ended. i need to go on one now before my dad comes back on and invades the p.c

gor gb v poland. are we using wolverhampton on version 2 or the gb pack?

pc norwood- is there anyone on your server as when i go on no-one is talking. i am on there in sts 2 mode. weren't you training for wolverhampton at the mo?

thats what happened to me. Make sure that you have copied the track AND the data file so all of the shefield data pictures are with the data for sts 2 and not in a seperate file.

i think i just did , you just type your nickname in the box and tick the little box and then enter it, at the time no-one was in there so i couldn't chat.

is lublin supposed to be with sts demo 2? What time is the main gb v pl match tonight?? Will we be using the british pack?

Do i have to have the 'E' version to race against poland tonight? I have downloaded the version on the link that mikowhy put on here and i have put sheffield on it. Is there anything else i need to do?? Whats this 'E' version about???

Right, i have saved my sts 2.0 demo version onto my desktop. I then extracted the sheffield track file and data file onto the desktop. What now ?? cheers

Craig here- Soz im a bit confused. Me and my dad downloaded the demo version of sts 2.0 last night with the 3 tracks on it from the link on the foruum. did i have to download the one where you had to pay as i was looking on the sight where mikowhy said we HAD to have version 2.0. Are there other things i need to do to enable myself to race tonight?? e.g im not too sure about the new sheffield track and other files, tracks i have to copy into new places. i think im half way there but im not sure if i have done evrything i am supposed to of done. It would be very kind of someone if they could just tell me the main,basic things i need to do to be able to race for team gb tonight. cheers

Bit worrying Craig has just given me and his mum a quick late night training session-Paulipops (Mrs Nevs) seems to have got the hang of it after a couple of tracks and looks very smug with herself as she disappears off to bed-a couple of fence bumps but not on the grass Tart I do wish she would not wave her arms in the air and start singing oleh oleh oleh oo ooh after she succesfully finishes 4 laps and smirking at me
