  1. It looks like the though of me having more regular visits to the showground is off, my head can't take another dodgy promoter
  2. That does more damage than good for British Speedway setting a poor example for future riders from around the World. Getting to the business end of the season and Peterborough just except Holder can swan off
  3. It seems more than ever British Speedway is being taken for a ride and just being used for VISA's to ride abroad. Now Jack Holder is playing the game, a relatively new rider to Speedway across here and no doubt already being influenced. Maybe we should now do what we did to the American's many years ago. 7 average or above in the top league or VISA's are no longer renewed 9 Average or above in the 2nd league or VISA's are no longer renewed
  4. I'd assume Jack Thomas is in for Jonasson as he's missing for none speedway commitments. Thus meaning it's an NL guest or a better guest and a 21 day ban for Jonasson.
  5. They have and it wouldn't surprise me if King's Lynn do but what are they to do when Premiership riders don't want the bookings?!?
  6. It's the sort of guests you have to expect on a Saturday fixture. The better riders ain't interested in guest booking's for weekend fixtures
  7. Think we're at that point in the season where clubs are getting desperate to fulfill fixtures. We're gonna have to live with guests & R/R from here on in
  8. I too really really hope it's Doyle as he fully deserves it but he is putting everything on the line for his clubs to. Jason leaves nothing behind but this could be his downfall to being World Champion
  9. Also I think Batch knew he was wanted at Poole. Why else would he mention them and complain and state that Poole were desperate for riders?!? If he wasn't contacted by Poole, how would he know?!?
  10. It would be a strange phone call as Holder's average is above Fricke's and Belle Vue are already above the 42 average
  11. I've had an explanation and it does stack up Buster had approval from Ford to speak to Gomolski & Jonasson and also Palm-Toft In return Batchelor & Holder WERE going to Poole but approval had to be confirmed. King's Lynn team could have been 1. Lambert 7.52 2. Huckenbeck 6.09 3. Palm-Toft 6.33 4. Jorgensen 6.08 5. Jonasson 5.69 6. Gomolski 5.51 7. Porsing 4.69 Ave: 41.91 This team was rejected as there wasn't 2 Brits in the team at all times. The intention was to run a 3rd reserve (Simon Lambert) for when a rider was missing but this isn't covered within the rules. Buster was in a last minute scramble to find a Brit replacement for 1 of the new 3 riders. Auty was then submitted in place of Gomolski very late on the Friday. Due to how late the new team was submitted the BSPA only gave the approval on the Saturday. Ford couldn't seek approval to have Holder & Batchelor included because they weren't released by King's Lynn. King's Lynn couldn't release riders until approval was issued (you seen what happened at Ipswich).
  12. What are you talking about?!? If a rider gets injured and is signed off by the doc IRR comes into play whether a manager accepts it or not. I don't get what you're trying to say
  13. I know J.Holder's VISA sponsor is Matt Ford but he's also employed by Peterborough. Where would JH stand if Ged was to tell immigration that one of his employee's has run off to Poland to earn more money while living off a UK VISA?!?
  14. Like it a lot The only issue I see is if a rider gets a long term injury it's harsh on the club if said rider has upped their average.
  15. During a meeting Buster generally only communicates with the clark of the course, team manager & team captain
  16. Let's get 1 thing straight, Rob Lyon & Dale Allitt were running the show for 2017. Chapman was simply the track curator and BSPA Chairman in 2017, he'd stepped down from the club duties very early on. Allitt has been taken ill since that Thursday and Lyon has since stepped down. Thus meaning Buster has only had to take back control of the Speedway since Wednesday 26th July. So the reality is, Buster hasn't needed to speak to any of the riders all season until now.
  17. Nope, each engine is sold on an individual rider invoice basis. Same as any other engine supplier
  18. Holder & Batchelor would fit for Andersen & Kennett & be under the 42 point limit. That would be a strengthening to the Poole team on current form would it not? Great decision by Chapman as far as I'm concerned, helping the opposition is not part of his remit as club owner whether he's chairman of the BSPA or not. There probably was a plan by Ford just to use Kennett as a stop gap to possibly working these two in his side. It's no surprise to see Poole fans on the defensive of the riders.
  19. All medical staff are independent. Should imagine Batchelor's performances for Swindon (as a guest) with the wrist injury then the performance for the Stars (his own team) at Leicester was the final straw for Buster
  20. Quite clearly the riders have no loyalty either. It's a great shame to be reading the comments from him on social media, it seems to be a new attitude that's only appeared this season. Wonder where that influence has come from
  21. What happened after the track was sorted?
  22. http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/5940/ So, he's upset he couldn't get another team place and may lose his visa rather than being sacked. Doesn't help his case even moore when he says he could have signed for Poole who are desperate for riders, which coincidentally is the team him & Holder played up. The bit about all 7 riders stood together, it's true but certainly not the case after the remedial work to which Holder still refused to ride heat 13.
  23. Nonsense, there was no cheating. Batchelor got withdrawn by the medical team, the club had no say in that. At the time we'd of much preferred he'd continued in the meeting but as events unfolded he (not the club) took the easy route out. At the time Batch had withdrawn from the meeting the team manager had also been taken ill. My guess is it's nothing to do with sponsors, more to do with the fact that after the track work he continued the meeting and raced hard showing his commitment. He was also on the tractor with Buster during the remedial work.
  24. See you're still very bitter. The 2 situations are very very different
